That’s is a good thing pedal discipline is good and there is a place for that. It’s a bigger picture than just that. Personally I want less government regulation, because they are choking out our industry.
They proposed in the documents released that the speed should be set at 60mph. I don’t care what speed they choose, I’m not putting a speed limiter on my truck. My investment, my property, my livelihood, and they already over regulate everything in the industry. Not to mention they want speed limiters on trucks, but they will also want us to pay for it. No thanks, not paying for something I don’t want.
I agree I believe that we as an industry we need to band together and actually find solidarity in our industry to actually stand up against this, and for the things that we do believe our actual problems inside of our industry
@@dirtroadsalvation many say that the ATA and FMCSA are in bed together with the mega carriers. The mega Carrier's are pushing for the automation. As that means more profits for them and they can work their robots. Good luck with the economy when things go full auto. We are headed for a crash as it is. There's not enough jobs when automation happens across most industries. That's the way many companies want due to costs. Though who will buy their products and services without money? There's certainly big changes coming.
Dad drives 62 max. His fuel mileage is good enough he doesn't have to drive as often.

You think you have an issue with the supply chain right now? Just wait till this happens and more slow goes on the road.
It’s gonna be interesting to see what the future holds .
@@dirtroadsalvation No doubt. I think they want to create this problem and say how we all need automated trucks.
@@DJPereira2012 it kinda does seem premeditated… raises a lot of questions as to why they want this so bad.
