Sincerely, I love this Orchestra, may be a little more sound of the clavecin.
He certainly was the “father of the symphony” as we know it and IMO, the “London” (no. 104) is the pinnacle of the classical genre. His earlier symphonies deserve to be heard more often. Wonderful playing, as always, from the Warsaw Philharmonic.
@@paullewis2413 yes, it is correct but Hydn's symphonies also had a great influence in Mozart's Symphonies and really the classical period ends with that composer , even the way of instrumentation and orchestration, left the path open for the great genious of Bonn.
What a wonderful performance this is a gorgeous symphony, it brings hope to life every time I ear it Haydn is brilliant.
