this is a pretty easy song TBH
The footage of him playing isn’t the same as the audio ur hearing. He records the audio separately and just mimes the guitar playing
@LinktoSonic I understand the 3 video clips of him playing the different guitar parts but how does he get 3 audio clips of his playing over each other? Still don't know how to do that
@@allboutthemojo Basic layering I guess. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or any editing software allows you to layer multiple audio files on top of each other. Or I guess in this case, he may be using a DAW such as Reaper or Pro Tools to layer the different guitar parts (plus the drums and bass) on top of each other to create the overall song. That's not even to mention the EQ, compression, double-tracking, reverb, mastering, and other sound engineering techniques used for this
@@LinktoSonicjust have to chime in and say these are videos of the actual tracks being recorded. They always are. It may take many attempts to get the perfect take but the take we choose always has the video of that particular take. It would be a nightmare to try to mime things, especially solos because the vibrato video not matching up with the audio would be a dead giveaway that it’s fake.
That being said, many things are doubled like you’d get in a studio recording simply because It sounds way better!

*Just a suggestion and quite ambitious…but no one has ever created scrolling tabs to ‘Green Grass & High Tides’. It is a lot of work but I am sure so many would value and appreciate it immensely if you were to consider the job.

Quick question for you, what pickups do you have in your Les Paul Custom for this video? I have an identical MIJ Fujigen clone (Les Paul Custom, Wine Red nitro, ebony fretboard, etc) but I'm looking to replace the pickups so I'd love to know what you're using here.
Is the 490R in the neck and a 498t in the bridge. I know that people kind of trash them but I don’t really understand why. I love them. They have a very powerful sound I find.

I think we should have the next few videos stay with the southern rock vibe. So instead of recommending another Lynyrd Skynyrd song, i recommend some Doobie brothers like Long Train Running or Listen to the Music
How do I get these tones? I have a Boss Mk2 Katana. Maybe there is a patch for these? I need that and a foot switch. Awesome job per usual.
I have tone screenshots on my Patreon page and I use Amplitube 5. The screenshots seem to be helping people with other set ups also.
