One of my daughters favorite songs to play and sing. One day we were about to get in the car when a guy stopped on his motorcycle wanting to buy something he saw we had. We talked and found out he played and sang also, so I ran in and got her guitar. She let him play this song and she sang the words while he added some background humming. It was really great. We had to go ahead and leave. He rode off smiling as much as we were. It was just one of those times people gather around music, sharing a moment, something spontaneous that only happens on its own.
Beautiful story you and your daughter will both treasure forever you must be soo proud of her as she is of you..💯 shout out to Daddy and daughter love👨👧

Such talent...you are just so great together!!! Hopefully more people get to know where you're performing and fill that whole lawn area! Dovydas is so respectful and appreciative!
I think it was just the spur of the moment thing which in the times were living was in the times were living in a real breath of fresh air..take care my friend..

WHAT. A. VOICE.... this guy touches something inside of me when he sings... bc of what he's feeling... making that connection is the "it factor".... dude's got it in spades ♠️
God Bless your family Daniel, that's a good story.

That's a beautiful story Daniel! Those chance encounters are so few and far between these days! God bless all three of you!
Treasure that
Beautiful story you and your daughter will both treasure forever you must be soo proud of her as she is of you..💯 shout out to Daddy and daughter love👨👧
Oh my goodness this was awesome. Wow! One of my favorite songs and this rendition was classic.
I have never heard this man sing, but let me tell you, i would like to hear him sing more often! And that’s right SING. His voice is good! And that is rarity to those of us who grew up singing along to motown and the early passionate music that took real talent. You either had it, or you didn’t make it. This man has the raw deal and it is good to the ears. Thanks. And the on the fly improv jam on the one man band’s part is admirable, it drew some attention too. Thanks
You'll find him on Vere Hill UA-cam 😊👍
Or go to st martin
@@oliverspanjer4183 You'll catch him in March 2023 he's performing live at The Red Piano SXM 6 days a week for the whole month you can catch up with him on FB also 😊👍
And I miss it so much!!!!
Ronnie's words and the music of Skynyrd still brings people together even in a nation so divided by politicians and their greed and thirst for power!
Somebody get this dude a record contract! His vocals are amazing.
My thoughts as well.
I prefer Shinedown's version. ua-cam.com/video/rgFQ6WmxdMs/v-deo.html
Boycott the labels
I Agree!
These two could start a band
Goosebumps man...
Beautiful!
Thank you for sharing.
Peace!
Absolutely perfect. The original was something for the ages, and I enjoyed what shine down did, but this was something special. Beautiful music with a fantastic vocal talent! Well done both of you
Awesome stuff. Love how those old school songs still bring people together like this.
amen. I'm sure you know as well as I do that no record recorded in the past probably 20 years will still be listened to heavily 50 years from now. Yet there are loads of classic rock albums that you actually see kids listening to now, ie. Dark Side of the Moon, Are You Experienced?, Abbey Road, etc
They do don't they! This is my favorite song in the world! I don't like to hear it different usually but I really enjoyed his version!!!
I love it, too.
I'm an old school singer .. Seeing these two just lifted my spirits
All the more impressive knowing it was unrehearsed. Great job by both of you!
I love his voice y'all are great together, should perform all the time
If love to meet the singer he seems cool I'd love to hear him And my daughter sing together
Great voice love the talent of both
@Jones Earl yes sir
@Jones Earl also I am well ty kindly for inquiring. Hope you are doing well also
@Jones Earl I do
I am currently still at work. I work at a hospital I think I'm getting off in an hour or so
I actually got to sing this one at a local bar one night, the lead singer was not feeling well and asked if anyone knew this song, it was my first time performing in front of an audience but I think I did a pretty good job if it and it's one of those moments in life that I'll always remember.. good times🎉🎉
That took a lot of courage, and perhaps a shot or 3!
@@Duken4evr29 all kidding aside, I've been singing since I learned to talk, but it was the first time ever doing it on a stage with an audience.. Both terrifying and exciting at the same time .
@@keithbartholomew9433 Nice! Keep it up, you have a cool gift.
My 24 year old daughter sings and plays guitar in an all female Aerosmith tribute band that gigs almost every weekend in local Denver bars. It all started when she was in middle school and after I sat her down in front of my rather elaborate audio system, and subjected her to high wattage Pink Floyd therapy - LMAO!
@@Duken4evr29 hahaha that's awesome bro.. Nice to see you educating your daughter on real mucic instead of the crap they're putting out these days.. Long live rock and roll.
@@keithbartholomew9433 What was crap in 60s became trends in 70s, lets not demean
MAN, that was SWEET. The guitar was great and the dude could SING. I really liked it when he changed keys. You know, in these times we need to see and hear good things like this to reset our heads. Because music is universal and everyone loves music. Thank you, man.
That young man has a GIFTED voice! So powerful and rich! Great song!
You'll find him on Vere Hill UA-cam 😁
I could listen to him all day !!! I pray that voice brings him great fortune and true happiness :)
Now that was some real Rock Power!!!. 2 beautiful souls shared a perfect Simple Man moment. The mission is to create moments like this for us. Well done again music man. 👍💫💯⭐
Well said.
Just so amazing, you both have pure talent. Thank you for sharing in these troublesome times.
Props to this dude singing adjusting the lyrics to fit this tempo on the fly, very well done.
Simple man is closer to 60 than 80, but I liked the little up beat vibe with the singer's vocal delivery, very cool. Props to you two.
Yeah , Way too fast.
Simple man was written in a minor not a natural
Sounds perfect to me...
the ability to get close enough to as many songs as he does astonishes me. 3 years of high school marching band i don't know that i ever memorized the whole show. Same stand music all three years and never memorized it all
I was about to say the singer is amazing but the tempo is ridiculously fast...... would have been epic if they blues it out jazzy and slow....💁🏼♂️
Picture it 2022: 46k ppl cheering and applauding you for your talent, bravery and great spirit 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💪🏽 I love this😊
Love when that singer drops down into a baritone. He's truly talented.
Geniuses at work! Love it the power of cooperation is invaluable!!!
Both pretty talented. The little mixing board and how it's nicely put together is cool too. Thank you for sharing this.
You look like my future wifey...
Nice to see you here
Thanks how are you doing today and your family?
Thanks, how are you doing today and your family?
You guys need to collaborate and make a whole albumn.
You're right!
But, seriously!
Absolutely! Fell in love with the song all over again!
Please DO this, you're both immensely talented and together are mesmerising. With your own songs, or even a covers album, you already have the audience!
What a great breath of fresh air during this, The Age of Anxiety. Dare I say how a simple three chord song can make us smile at the ease and comfort we are capable of showing and sharing. Many thanks!
You'll find him on Vere Hill UA-cam 😊👍
I'm so sorry for your loss. There are no words...
This is awesome but sad that there's not a thousand people in that field cheering you on. You both freaking rock 🤘
THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT TOO!!!
Haha yeah nah
Just terrific...both talented people.
If it wasn't a setup...
The happenstance of it...
the serendipity of it...
gives you goosebumps.
Great regardless.
@@nicolienkeijzer5297 It's was a nice little surprise for me. 🤗☺️👍
dovydas does stuff like this all the time. Don't know if he has absolute pitch, but if not, great relative pitch, a master of the looper, and a really talented musician. He's impressive!
Other guy is an actual singer who has shown up at least one previous time dovydas was performing.
No set up required, just lots of talent and practice.
@@Toddler1967 Like I said... GREAT regardless of the conditions.
@@Toddler1967 agree...no setup and both just have amazing talent! Vere Hill has his own UA-cam channel too!
Set up?
I used to love singing this song. Shinedown did an amazing cover when I was a teenager. This is damn good as well. Love seeing people coming together.
The tempo was a bit rushed, but it really worked so well with Vere's style of singing. This cover was great because it was obviously close to the original. But different enough to showcase both of your talent.
Agreed it would have been better slowed down. It is more powerful that way.
I thought the tempo was perfect! But we all like different things & sounds so neither way would be wrong - or any other way, for that matter.
Let's see u do it
Damn, mad respect on how tight the singers drop ins were. Crispy! That's a sign of serious experience right there, especially unrehearsed.
This singer needs a record deal ASAP!
FOR SURE!!!! AMAZING!!!
Record labels be like "Naah. Here, have Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Scott instead." Absolutely maddening.
Screw that go independent. Record companies epar you and forget about your masters. Learn from MJ and Prince!
MANKKKKKKKY LUVD IT .
Great singing voice. Great guitar. Guitar player is a one man band. Y'all do it again.
Hope this guy gets noticed for his voice. Very talented indeed.
Man your ability to craft it so his voice can really shine with it was amazing. That dude has a beautifully soulful voice, I would love to see him really get comfortable and start belting out some emotion with it.
You'll find him on Vere Hill UA-cam 👍
I think I saw the same guy Sing with another steet performer. The guy has some pipes!
He sang with Dovydas it's the same guy this video was the following year when they both met up again 😊
TRUE Musician t Authentic vocalist when you can walk up connect on the spot entertain to applause you are the real deal! no auto tune no let me clear my throat.. just stepped up & killed it! Bravo to both of them
Goose bumps all round . So cool . The voice and the loop set up on the spot and of course the guitar playing . Top class.
They should do an album. When you do a long driving you need songs like this. His voice and his guitarr, pure magic together👍👍
Song made me cry.
I know the song all too well.
This was simply beautiful….
I’ve been struggling recently, lost my oldest and dearest friend two weeks ago, lost my mom 7 months ago.
She used to always tell me to be a simple man…
I needed to hear this today.
I cried tears of joy and
I thank you Momma for introducing me to this song so many years ago.
Keep moving forward. Thats what a simple man does. Moves forward
Mum raised me the same way... God Bless🙏
maaaaaaaan thats some talent right there and incredible that they put that together so tight on the spot....amen to this and more love people together just like this
We need this as a band right now. This is a great duo, I can see some great original tunes coming for this pairing.
Great job. Seems like both are genuinely kind people.
i just watched the original Tennessee Whiskey cover 10 minutes ago and saw yall reunited i had to watch! make an album you two!
