This video is quite old and unsure you'll see this, but is it possible to teach that jumping up when they want is not acceptable, but train it as a command? ie: "up"? Enjoy the up, but not when they want, as requested

How hard is it for a newly adopted parent (myself) to teach a 15 month old out of control of an in neutered Great Dane.

Hey Will. I am thinking of getting a Great Dane soon. I live with a roommate and we are most likely raising it together. Although it is MY dog, he may be around my roommate more. What can I do to make sure my dog knows I am the “alpha male” or owner? Thanks so much, love your videos.
I have two 7 month old boy and they jump up on everyone that walks in the house and I can't get them to stop they do good with training but not with this one Particular thing I hope me watching thos helps
I can definitely do this. My concern is that I am in a multipet household. I have already trained my cats that way, so when they hear that reaction from me they immediately stop what they are doing.
How do I work with a puppy in this way without my cats thinking they are in trouble? Or worse yet, desensitizing the cats to the sound of that correction?
I know I can't be the only person in a multipet household. So, what do the rest of you do?
