I stumbled across the Fortifications of Xi’an by chance on Geo Guesser. Now, I’m completely addicted and have fallen in love with it and Chinese culture. It’s just so... traditional feeling. I did run the full loop of the City Wall back in 2018 (a little over 8 miles so if you are used to 10k runs this would be nothing). I picked a weekday (few tourists) and it was very pleasant. Want to go back again badly but this unfortunate pandemic...I started from the West Gate (Gate AnDing, or Peace and Stability), actually right in front of the bike rental place.
