Splendid video as usual Lenny! The marches played were, 1) 0:01-Vimy Ridge 2) 3:06-The Mareth Line 3) 6:27-With Sword and Lance (Mit Schwert Und Lanze) (Return to Barracks) 4) 6:40-Children of the Regiment (Die Regimentskinder) 5) 9:50-To Your Guard 6) 12:43-Aces High (Luftwaffe March) 7) 14:15-The Rising of the Lark
Funny thing's that I was listening to Die Regimentskinder from trooping the color 2009 and saw this video lol. Didnt expect to listen to it again, what a coincidence!
Magnificent Guards and Band playing beautiful marches, led by the Iconic Superb SDM Gareth Chambers!! A stunning video for closing this day. Thank you, good night!!
Lenny, I cant begin to thank you for bringing a bit of traditional Britain to the world. I look forward to your videos from Windsor and hope you enjoy making them as much as we enjoy watching them. Stay well and stay happy! Michael (Melbourne Australia)
Merci Lenny pour cette magnifique video sous la pluie ! Images parfaitement nettes et très beaux gros plans sur les musiciens. On a pu apprécier la virtuosité des clarinettes à la fin du trio de Vimy Ridge.
Good morning, Lenny and Mr Ig. See the white haired lady on the left around the ten second mark? I always love seeing her enjoying the music, and always love see my friend SDM Chambers and his professional manner
Yes! T’is our kindred spirit you saw! Also at the 1m50s mark! I’m sure you and I should join her 🤭 And yes, the ever fab GC, leading the way in his inimitable manner🥳
@@AnnofWales21 good morning ( Saturday across the pond). I think we should join her too and you can keep me from screaming at SDM Chambers 🥴or catch me when I faint 😂
The guards playing name music quick march is:1 Vimy ridge 0:01, 2 The Mareth line 3:03, 3 The regiment of childrent 6:44, to your guards 9:46, 4 aces hight 12:40 & the rising lark 14:11.🙏thanks lenny winsor to make video 1 battalion grenadier guards.
@muziekkorpsen-marchingbands Actually the right march list as mentioned by Delvin is: Vimy Ridge The Mareth Line With Sword and Lance Children of the Regiment To Your Guard Aces High and lastly Rising of the Lark
Nice Job Lenny from a🇺🇲 Yank who traveled all the way to Windsor to film in 1998. I'm band crazy and would eventually become the first Bandmaster of the Chicago Military Academy in 1999, purchasing the exact same instruments that a "Guards" band uses. My recommendation for improvement would be to continue the video for one more minute. The Band of the Grenadier Guards had just started performing the Welsh Guards quick March, "Rising of the Lark!" You can hear it as you cut off your recording. I think we would have been able to hear the completion, and it honors the Regiment (Welsh Guards), the band was escorting that day. Sincerely, Nathan from 🇺🇲Chicago 🇬🇧💂♂️🇺🇲🇬🇧💂♂️🇺🇲
