Think it was more to do with the force Amy shoved them in there and made them collide with the end wall. And anyway, made it funnier, more intimate, more stressful. You have to take every advantage with physical comedy that is also revealing psychology

He should have faceplanted on the floor. Yet SOMEHOW, he ends up on his back under Alex with his legs kinda wrapped around him. I refuse to believe Henry didn't fully do that on purpose, it's my new headcanon and nobody will convince me otherwise. 😂 Man saw his chance for an impromptu snuggle (and cologne sniff) (while also still being able to yell at Alex like it was his fault) and he took it.
The thing that always breaks me up as the scene builds to the cakegate collapse is the way Henry looks down at the whisky glass Alex has just put into his hand with the expression of: "How did THAT get in my hand?" Delicious.
The animation of the word "See" apparently in my brain was the funniest thing ever and it took me like 5 minutes to stop laughing to I could actual watch the video 😭😭
but the bset part for me was when he was trying to act cool and not freak out when Henry asked if they could make love and Alex was like "Oooh?"😲 "I mean..Yeah.."😐 "I'm down.."😬
I mean, My Country Tis of Thee straight up stole its melody from God Save the Queen (King) so they sound the same, but in this scene and context GSTK makes far more sense given their banter, no matter what the closed captioning erroneously (imo) said. 🤷🏻♀️
