I just got a Wacom Cintiq (a big monitor you draw directly onto), which is amazing... Before that I was old school, drawing on paper and scanning it.

Yeah, they're the best... This video is the first project I've completed using only the Cintiq.
It is traditional! I'm sketching, animating, and inking with a pen by hand. It's really no different.

@LinkEX I hadn't seen Powerthirst when I made these. I only found out about those after someone else made the comparison. Not that I'm impartial, but my visuals are a million times better! Those shorts are pretty funny, though, so kudos to whoever made them.
Mike - Your animations are amazing. The Lollipop tree blows my mind. Thought I would share my Hot Pocket's commercial parody. Would love to know what you think.
You're just commenting on the style, not the process or the tools used... This would've looked exactly the same if I drew it on paper (it just would have taken twice as long). The differences you mention were intentional and part of the style of the short. If I was trying to do "The Lollipop Tree" again, it WOULD have looked, moved, and felt like "The Lollipop Tree". It's cool to hear what you think, though, don't let me discourage you from sharing your opinion, and thanks for watching!

Your visuals were certainly more difficult to make since Powerthirst seems to be mostly a slideshow of edited pictures from Google Image Search, I think this din't hurt the video since the animation it had was enough to give it the feeling of a real Energy Drink advertisement.
Your video has deserved far more than about its current 9,000 views though. Overall most of your videos should have far more views :/
This wasn't bad, but tbh i found Powerthird to be far funnier.
