I kinda like that they’re half in charecter and half not but if they weren’t pre-video but they’re actors they probly just jump into charecter slightly when a cameras on them together. I doubt it was scripted though or maybe loosely scripted

The reason why I personally find the scene where Dennis is reading Charlie’s incoherent speech to be so funny is because you see Charlie mouthing along to the words and looking so proud of himself.
Same, easily my favorite scene in the entire series. Charlie being confronted with a disability and casually disregarding it, his confidence that the speech is indeed correct, Dennis' frustration. Comedy Gold

Glenn is just naturally so funny. The way he says "A missing man! A missing man is quite interesting."
i’m just getting into the podcast, haven’t really seen much of these guys outside of the show, and i have to say it’s just so refreshing how charming polite and kind glenn is in real life. all of them of course, but the gap between glenn and dennis is phenomenal
It's clearer more than ever just how much of themselves these guys put in to their characters.
Charlie is laid back and a bit chaotic.
Rob is very matter-of-fact.
Glenn is tightly wound and very specific about certain things.
Obviously they're not exactly the same as their characters, but they've taken core aspects of their personalities, amplified them and turned them in to the Sunny characters we love.
Even some of their personal mannerisms translate over. Rob and Mac use a lot of the same gestures and movements, for example.

im no "mens health" guy by any means but... They both have "interviews" with them and in BOTH of them they are ragging on the other, its pretty great.
and how rob apologises to glenn when he says ‘we’ve discussed this before’
When Rob says it's better with Charlie and then Glenn says matter-of-fact "It's fine..." and then later patted Charlie was also very their dynamic
Rob genuinely looks incredible for his age. Much better than Glenn, If I'm being honest. Which makes the whole thing that much funnier.
@@paulj6805 he's all but admitted to taking steroids. He's not by any means shy about it. He's still in shape, still working out and dieting, but it definitely does help to have 10x the testosterone of a man in his 20s.
Charlie walking in and immediately addressing changing the podcast venue after Rob and Glenn had been talking about it without it him is such a neat little example that shows how in sync they all are.
He shoulda walked in and said "pizza man pizza man i got pizza here who wants pizza man"
"you're just trying to pull Brad down a peg, and I won't have it" is an incredibly Mac line

Yeah they're like gross caricatures of their real selves. Which is so special because when they're together they have these conversations they can take to hilarious places, and nobody else in the world could do it. Perfect chemistry/synergy
If you pause at 38:53 you can see Glenn's phone say 9:50 Monday December 6th. Since they start recording at 9am sharp, that means 11 minutes has been cut out by this point. Also, they filmed this 7 weeks before releasing it. I have autism.

filming this was absolutely the best move, watching everyone's reactions and mannerisms sends it into another stratosphere

Honestly, I never saw Charlie laughing in that scene as a break. I always saw it as Charlie being proud of his speech 😂😂
A small little moment that gets people in this episode is Mac yelling at Dennis that he has to drop out of the race and Glenn just looks in his mirror. "I ain't droppin' outta shit". The mirror throughout the episode is such an over the top touch and really drives home the fact that Dennis is just doing this because he likes the way he looks in the jacket. He loves the power and how everything starts revolving around him.

Oh hell yes. The visual component takes this to another level. Idk how this channel hasn’t completely taken off. In a world full of shitty podcasts this one is fantastic. Just as funny as the show but in a different way
Personally I didnt know they had their own youtube channel until today and because it was just audio before there were several channels on youtube reuploading the podcast. Like me most people just downloaded the audio off of pod websites and listened during work. Even with all of that the podcast was crushing it on spotify, so now that they're doing video the numbers will go up here on youtube.

100% this podcast will blow up. The ratio of likes comments and reviews + landing in the top podcasts.. it’s early. It’s only two months old and the best seasons yet to come. This will be big. And every second is glorious. It’d basically season 15.5
It's early days, they are already in top ten listened podcasts in most platforms I've seen. Especially when they get into the mid-late seasons I'm sure it will be huge.

Charlie mouthing "Thank you" along with Dennis is the best part of the speech.
For some reason, watching someone stroll in late is funnier to watch than just hear and I sincerely hope someone is late for every episode so I can continue watching people slink in and get mildly roasted for it. I think you guys are definitely getting into the swing of things.

The beginning really makes me think of a setup for a potential Always Sunny Episode. “Charlie’s Missing” or something like that. The gang always acts like they don’t care about Charlie, but you know the second he disappeared they would go all over trying to find him.

Honestly one of my favorite episodes from one of my favorite seasons. Charlie’s breakdown at the end is unforgettable.
The gang dances their asses off….The gang finds a dead guy…the gang gives back…all of these are so well written and fluid from beginning to end. I loved the earlier seasons.

Big props to Megan. She's a freaking genius writer. The show is really lucky to have her, and the guys know it.
I wouldn't listen to MOST other people of whom I'm a fan of their work talk about their stuff for an hour EVERY week, because it would get old. But this is a very special thing you guys are doing and I really enjoy it. I always listen to it with my turns-one-Thursday daughter while I'm working from home on Monday mornings, and she doesn't really seem to like it as much but she'll grow into it. Maybe having it on video will help.
PS: My wife literally kicked me out off bed at 2:30 am for shaking the bed laughing. I love how Rob gets bitter about tiny sights. It's really hilarious. These guys are legends.

After realizing how this video is almost 1M, I just know Always Sunny will make video podcasts more often as its severely popular to watch this amazing trio discuss literally anything.
I've watched every episode of always sunny probably 6 times each. This podcast was never recommended to me on UA-cam. I randomly seen something about it on Facebook today and can't wait to watch every episode of this podcast! You guys are great keep it up.

I always thought the scene where Dennis reads Charlie's script was one of the funniest things I have seen in my entire life no matter how many times I watched it over. Now that I know it was Glenn doing improv my life feels complete. His reactions are everything. "So Do"😂😂

That speech scene cements at least 3 different deep roots for the show: Charlie and Frank sharing a bed, Charlie’s illiteracy, and the mentioned rapid fire betrayal. Within the span of 60 seconds they’ve got 3 wells to draw from at any point in the future. So great.
The video podcast makes it so much better. The subtle looks to each other when you guys team up on one guy to bust his balls and being able to see your physical expressions makes it so much more enjoyable.
