For this challenge you actually should start in Brandenburg, since Prussia was basically just called Prussia and not Brandenburg since they could get the Prussian Kingdom easier than a Kingdom of Brandenburg

How about a second run, starting in 1066 with the Count of Zollern (in the Duchy of Swabia)? That would be more historically accurate, since Bismarck served as a chancellor under Wilhelm I. of Prussia, who was a member of the house of Hohenzollern. The count of Zollern is the first landed character of that dynasty in CK3. Alternatively, you could create your own character and the house of Bismarck in the county of Stendal (duchy of Angria, west of the river Elbe and west of the duchy of Luticia). Bismarck was born near Stendal (the castle Schönhausen where he was born is actually east of the Elbe but ... oh well, the family was German and not slavic nobility, so I think Stendal is more accurate).
Yeah but the Hohenzollern arent the reason why the Kaiserreich has become a thing. Thats very much Bismarcks doing. And after the Kaiserreich was a thing, Bismarck (the position of Chancellor) stayed the most powerful postion in germany. Up to today.
@@gandalf_thegreythe Reichskanzler was only as powerful as the Kaiser permitted. Technically the Kaiser could have ruled as an absolute monarch, as the Kaiser decided how much he wanted to be involved in politics. You can see that on Wilhelm II. Of Germany, as he just dismissed Bismarck and pretty much ruled as he saw fit (naval arms race etc.) But yes, without Bismarck there wouldn’t have been a Kaiserreich, maybe one but it would have taken way longer and probably would have been under Austrian dominace instead of Prussian

You realize that princes electors of Brandenburg annexed Prussia not vice versa, as well as Bismarck also was residing in Berlin, so you should've started as a duke of Nordmark/Northern March instead? Using the title of Prussia was a technicality, as electors of HRE princes of Brandenburg couldn't claim the title of the king, but since Prussia wasn't technically a part of HRE, they could style themselves as the kings of Prussia.
I have a video idea for you. There are 2 rules: 1. You can not hold land your grandfather/mother held. This also means that you can't be the liege of someone who holds it. It must be outside your influence. 2. You can not give away land your father/mother held. This also means that you can't be the liege of someone who holds it. If you break a rule, it is game over. This way, if you are successful, your borders will travel from one part of the map to the other. Good luck
@@donpollo3154 yeah would have made more sense.. Fun fact they are still the German Dynastie but they have no power and trying to law suit the German state to get all there stuff back (they lose doing it)

Practically he also masterminded Germany into existence. And, for a newly formed Kaiserreich... Germany had a weak monach. One that wasnt absolutist (above the law), one that couldnt do anything in terms of law without parliaments approval. Bismarck always had a plan. And his plan included him being the No. 1.

9th century Pruzzen has almost nothing in common with Prussia. People there were Baltic and not Germanic/ German and they were no Christian’s. It would be more accurate to start somewhere in northern francia.
Welsh, that's (with the Cornish and Cumbrians) who the Britons were. The term "Welsh" just means "Not one of us" in Old English. Yes, all of the Celtic cultures have a "Reclaim Britannia" decision.
By the games start date the Anglo-Saxons were just celts who wanted to be German. The original Saxon leadership that conquered the lands had ceased to be be a thing. Either replaced by culture converted natives or breed into and by them. Hell, the greatest irony is that the Irish and Scottish are more Germanic then the English.
