Thank you for replying, I've made two and they've turned out lovely. I'm so chuffed. You explained the process so well I managed to adjust the size a bit for my faux-dori. :)
Thanks so much for sharing this! I've been wanting to make some of these and this is the best tutorial I've found. It's very easy to follow and I can't wait to get some card stock and make one of these myself.
Scrapcraftastic I finally made one of these and am pretty happy with the results for my first try. I ended up cutting the inside part a little too small when I was trying to shave off little bits but you can't really tell because the flaps glued over it cover it up. Thanks again for the great tutorial!
I would love to see you make a tutorial on how to make one of these for a B6 TN. I’m getting one fairly soon and would like to be able to make a double pocket folder for it like I did using your tutorial for my pocket TN. That one has been great and I’ve gotten a lot of use out of it.
Hi, first I'd like to say thank you so much for even taking the time to make these videos. I'm a subscriber to your channel and I've purchased from you Etsy store. I've never been disappointed with either. I have a request though please. One day, could you sit down and make a list of travelers notebook insert diy measurements. I've watched and made the pocket sized inserts (dashboards, reusable dashboard, pocket folders, etc) but me personally, I also have a standard and A5 sizes (for now lol) also and would love to make inserts for other size TN's. It doesn't have to be a tutorial because the instructions would basically be the same, just like a size chart or something ranging from Micro to A6 for example. This may be a too difficult a task but I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting something like this (and would be willing to pay for it even). Thank you and keep up the good work.
+Jenny Plenty I apologize for the delay! Thank you so much for your support! Yes, I will definitely do a video on this and I will also write a blog post on the topic so that they can both be referenced at any tjme. Thanks again and thanks for watching!
Thank you for the great instructions. One question...have you ever laminated that much paper thickness?? I'm having trouble with one thick and one thin for a pocket insert ...let alone 3 thicknesses in some places. Just wondering if you have better luck with your laminator that I have with mine. (It's a Scotch, brand new.) I'm getting a lot of pockets and the first time I bend something (carefully!!) it separates..and I ran it thru twice. Maybe too thick?? Thanks to anybody who has any ideas or history of the same. Thanks so much!! ;)
+vegasjill21 I've never had a problem. I've used my scotch laminator for multiple thicknesses of cardstock. I find that making sure the laminator is extra hot helps eliminate bubbling. By extra hot, I mean waiting even longer after the ready light is on. I've also had issues with laminate not sealing to.the paper when the machine was not extremely hot. Hope this helps! Thank you for watching!
+Evy Nguyen not sure. It would be just a matter of adding another price of paper on the inside and many cutting it a little shorter. An outside pocket is a whole different thing. Thanks for watching!
+Learnto Crochet you can use the groove in a paper trimmer. I show this in the traveler's notebook double envelope manual version video if I remember correctly. I know it was one of the recent double envelope vids.
LOve your music and the pace and the video itself! well done and thanks!

Ahh, ok, I'll wait a bit after the blue light comes on. Thanks alot for your helpful reply! ;)
+vegasjill21 you're welcome!
what if you wanted to make four pockets? two in the inside and two in the outside? would you just make two and glue them together or something?
+Evy Nguyen not sure. It would be just a matter of adding another price of paper on the inside and many cutting it a little shorter. An outside pocket is a whole different thing. Thanks for watching!
Rachelle, how would you score if you don't have the scoring board?
+Learnto Crochet you can use the groove in a paper trimmer. I show this in the traveler's notebook double envelope manual version video if I remember correctly. I know it was one of the recent double envelope vids.
i find that scoring on a flat surface works just as well
+Evy Nguyen great! Thanks for watching!
