Jackie, your video inspired me to try again with this sweet set! I did not have a marker, only Blends, and as a senior crafter have some vision challenges but managed these workarounds. Found it easier to stamp the leaf one first. Could not see the flower centres so marked them on the flat side of the stamps with a black biro. Easy to stamp the flowers, then took a darker Blend and made a little X over the green flower centre. Not as perfect as yours, but a good result and means being able to use this sweet set. Thanks so much!
Love your perseverance to create with this set! Thanks for sharing your process, I'm sure someone else who has struggled with this stamp set will read this and find your tips helpful!
Hahha oh trust me... I make A LOT of mistakes!! Just usually by the time I get around to filming the video I've made a few cards that I've worked through all the mistakes!
Stamparatus would be very helpful. Stamp all the flowers first, then switch over to the leaves. Line up the leaves on the card first then fold over the stamparatus to stick it.
You could try! But when you stamp the green leaves, it also stamps the flower insides green. So as long as if it's a darker ink that covers the green it could work.
Thanks for the suggestion of cutting down a notecard to use as 2 panels and then make a base note card with colored CS. I've just had my 20th anniversary as a demonstrator, and I never thought of doing that. Is this something like teaching an old dog a new trick? Great video, as always
Oh I sure mess up too!! I do talk about it in the video... best thing to do is line up the stamp with the photo from the stamps case because the images are aligned straight there. And then put both stamps on the block in the same way. It will help you know which way they align together.

That’s a great tip with the darker centers of the flowers

One of your best videos for me - I love simple. I wonder how the stamperatos would work on these flower/leaves if making a bunch.
Stamparatus would be very helpful. Stamp all the flowers first, then switch over to the leaves. Line up the leaves on the card first then fold over the stamparatus to stick it.
Just wondering if you could stamp the leaves green and add the black inside to the paper, rather than on the stamp? Really cute cards!!
