They really do make the progress in terraforming visually appealing. Just in this video you went from Dustball and puddles, to vibrant green, lakes, and trees.
I think part of the progression problem is you neglected heat for a long time. Having access to t4 heaters and not immediately putting some down is probably what made it so slow.
There is a larger storage chest but you need the trade rocket and an extreme amount of tokens. Also you should checkout the cannon/valley leading to the area with the big ring to find some nice "rainbow caves"
Jake complaining about storage management and then in a single sentence just completely dismiss the very correct advice that a centrally located automater can draw from all of your storages to craft something (thus saving a lot of headspace) - baffeling stuff
Speaking of weird sayings amongst people. My brother and I once played an mmorpg together and we joined a group for a raid. While playing as a dps, the healer was getting upset that I was pulling agro from the boss, even though I was already pacing myself damage wise. After her lecture she said, "believe me I have a sorc, (sorcerer in the game). So we will be talking and let's say, make a good food recommendation. We will immediately follow up with believe me I have a sorc.
jet pak doesn't pull you down, it rather flies where you look. Look up and you fly higher, look down and you fly lower. Probably depends on the exact center of the screen and the cursor position, above or below.
Personaly i never understood the "you will feel the satisfaction once you unlock drones" argument. Like duh, ofc it will feel better with bigger inventory in game where collecting stuff is majority of your actions. To me the satisfaction is very short in comparison to how long iam forced to used small inventory (more inventory slots is usualy like late game stuff to reach it). I always use mods, console commands, i will adjust the .cfg etc. Iam behind the point to let devs waste my time.

I agree, it looks like the progression of automation is way too slow. I mean, T2 Fission and finally Fusion Power is before drones? Pretty ridiculous considering IRL drones/automation and nonexistent Fusion Power. Probably would have been better if you unlocked drones earlier and had different tiers that increase the range they can travel.

I agree with you. It's mostly stubbornness on my part that is making me continue to choke down on these claustrophobic inventory restrictions.
