32640 is such a random number to be the non-game-breaking maximum - I wonder why? The 65-thousand number I can understand though because that's hitting the 16-bit integer value maximum. I guess maybe if they're using *signed* 16-bit integers, then a practical limit near 32k makes sense because you'd start hitting the negative integer values? Interesting either way!
@@Rutchet yeah two bytes is 16 bits so makes sense. Game engines now just do 32/64-bit (4/8 bytes) for everything because they don't care about tiny memory optimisations anymore lol Anyway cheers mate, absolutely love what you do, always so interesting!
I don't think so, the leveling system of this game in challenge mode was automated to calculate the damage based on the level. Other games don't have 99 levels

@@upmyarsenal3969it might have been a pain three or four years ago but not anymore. mipmapping was fixed years ago and performance isnt a problem anymore aggressive special half pixel offset and merge sprite should be selected in manual hardware fixes though when using high resolution upscaling
Uberduck sadly got rid of Ratchet and Clank's voices, but their voice actors weren't added to the blacklist, so I think the authors of the voice models just retired from the community and asked for their models to be removed.

No idea why, the value is saved in two bytes, I set them both to 127

Setting the emulator on 4K looks better when recording the screen, lines are smoother and shapes are sharper

I usally replay the entire game on challenge mode without upgrading the weapons beyond V10 because just how overpowered they are.
Why didn't you show the Silencer?
When you have so much damage to one shot all enemies and almost all bosses, weapons with area damage become the best
How do you level up beyond 99? Is it just manipulated code?
I just changed a number, the game doesn't let you level up but it doesn't prevent you exceeding 99 either
