I forgot the wrench, but the hyperstrike does almost the same exact damage as the Clank Shocker. I made this for reference, I wanted to put how much experience each weapon took to upgrade along with the total cost, but that's out of my range to determine.
My personal rating of the weapons:

Zodiac is so high because I genuinely believe it's better at crowd clearing than every weapon below it. Visibomb is the highest rated RaC1 weapon because it has similar usage to the Vaporizer, and isn't much weaker. Bomb Glove isn't too bad but Xem overrates it. Tesla Claw is below Clank Zapper since the Clank Zapper almost functions like a passive Tesla Claw. Imagine the Tesla Claw, but you can use another weapon at the same time. That's the Clank Zapper. Decoy Glove is so low because it can barely take any damage at all before breaking. Walloper takes several hits to kill the little golden flies on Oozla, and those are the weakest enemy in the entire game.
As a bonus for anyone who cared to read this, here are some lesser known traits about the Clank Zapper.
It has more range behind Ratchet than the Kilonoids.
It can get ammo out of crates, unlike the Kilonoids, Tesla Barrier, and Megaturrets.
A shock from the Clank Shocker is about as strong as a hyper strike with the strongest wrench, which isn't the worst thing I've ever heard.
You can equip multiple at once, which doesn't increase it's power or rate of fire or anything it just wastes ammo.
Sometimes if you equip another Clank Zapper while a Clank Zapper is active, it'll just turn off the Clank Zapper entirely. So that's technically 2 Clank Zappers wasted. - Ігри
if you throw a decoy glove above the arena enemy spawners, chainblade will stand still dancing and wont attack you, so you can sheep him to death

You don't even need to throw it out of arena there is a spot closer to the edge where even player can stand still and Chainblade won't attack, that's how I dodge him for 2 minutes lmao

Also "the 1,000,000 bolt price tag must've been a typo by insomniac" for the clank zapper is so true lmao that thing is garbage

I'm quite surprised that the Meteor Gun is so good with lock-on. Always kinda hated that gun for how less fun it was to use than the Lava Gun.
It's amazing right? Its one of those weapons that becomes godlike with the proper investment.
Yeah, Meteor Gun is ridiculous with Lock On. Probably the fourth best weapon in the game
It just loses what made it unique tho. It loses it's crowd control capability and trades it for extremely powerful short range single target damage. Plus, the whole thing where the lava was still spewing when you let go was awesome
It was kinda weird that it went from group DPS to single target DPS but I can't say I ever hated the idea. Kinda glad they replaced it in UYA with the Liquid Nitrogen Gun tho
@@TheRealBlazingDiamond yeah, mechanically lava gun is thousand times better, it goes without a question. Lava gun had its own unique physics programmed for it while meteor gun is... well it just spams instant damage projectile, like literally any other gun, and doesn't even have splash radius damage - very uncreative and boring.
Weapon balancing in R&C2 was wack.

The mega bomb glove is also really good for only being 2.000 bolts

You can kill protopet with tractor bombs that frequently spawn in arena, they deal more damage than RYNO II
Man the Mega Tesla Claw is SOOO UNDERRATED. IT TEARS THROUGH EVERYTHING YOU COULD IMAGINE (except boss fights). By far the best Gadgetron Weapon brought back in this masterpiece of a sequel.
Edit: All zodiac players: wow. those 1.5m bolts were SOO worth it. (Sarcastic)

A one time purchase, no upgrades, yet it still has the best dps of any weapon in the game.
I loved the Tankbot. I wish they had more weapons like it in the series.

i always thought meteor gun sucked. i never used it against bosses i guess. the tetra bomb on the other hand, i thought it was OP.

Right? I stumbled into those weapons being so good, meteor gun became my lancer replacement.
Same thing for the infector. If you want to learn to love every weapon, I suggest doing a challenge run that you can only buy the next weapon once the weapon you currently has is at max level. It was how I learned that the infector can one shot and two shot enemies at _Holostar Studios_ AGAINST THE 4 EYED ALIENS!
People don't hate Meteor Gun because it's BAD, they hate it because it works completely opposite from the Lava Gun it upgrades from.

Clank Shocker is quite understand, imho it's a great support weapon that automatically regenerate ammo over time, beautiful nice looking effect and you don't need to care about it at all, just let it serve as bonus source of damage/support without costing you anything. Still need polishing, though: no ammo usage, so it doesn't accidentally get ammo pickup from crates, and turn it in to a misc item than weapon so you can turn it on and off whenever you like permanently without selecting it to a weapon wheel if you need it. Plus clank should use it in stand alone clank-only missions against minor enemies, would love to zzzap foes with automatically seeking lightning and pew-pew laser from eyes but with manual aiming.
The mini nuke is god

Why nobody knows that tankglove bot has alternative fire which launches grenades? You can even do rapid spam with these for insane dps.
If the Lancer ever return it needs a buff.
It deals more than 3 times less damage to arena bosses it's not that bad on other occasions

@@lordhippopotamus9166 N90 sucks in comparison. The Blaster from RaC 1 is good, Lancer is good til like Tabora, N60 is good until like Tyhrranosis lmao.
@@tecknowledjee6933 Fully upgraded N90 has 1200 damage against weaker enemies than in R&C2, until Tyhrranosis it 1 shots almost everyone lol, I have full health map on all enemies in the quadrilogy and mega bots from Mylon take 20 N90 shots when tanks on Dobbo (weaker) require 23 Lancer shots. N90 still deals more raw damage out of challenge mode, but it's less noticeable because of inferior rate of fire. And blaster is good because enemies in the original R&C1 don't level like in 2 and 3. But honestly all of them are bad compared to most of the arsenal. Only ever use N90 because I feel like other weapons are way too overpowered + run out of ammo fast, and Lancer for challenges, blaster is just dull for me.

nah, its just something ive known about from playing the game years ago. if you do another playthrough take note of the damage and theres no difference at all
Ah. Maybe the upgrade was just the ammo capacity and nothing more. Kinda a shame since they're one of the best weapons on the first playthrough.
Meteor Gun is based, I think Meteor, Lava and Liquid Nitro are all great forms

Idk if it was an emulation issue but when I tried to record this the strong tank bot shots didn't do any damage so I had to do a weak and slow strat instead.

GC best game ever with the arsenal in the trilogy. so ironic how rac3 is called UYA and this game here (2) has a much cooler arsenal. in rac3 it takes volume 8 for weapons to do damage.
and most of the best weapons in UYA are arugably from GC as well...
Weapons I overrated: Superlancer, Clank Zapper (every time I see it, it becomes shitter and shittier) and Mega-turret glove (same as Clank Zapper, I knew it was bad but could not remember that bad)
Weapons I underrated: Multi-star, Blitz Cannon
All the others are quite like I could remember
To be fair the megaturret actually deal quite a lot of damage if you consider that they can deal damage while you fire with other weapons. Bear in mind that in most of the fight they were at max amount of turrets and basically doing nothing, so that's time that could have been spent using other weapons. That + the ability of the turrets to deal with ennemies you are not actively focusing on make it quite a versatile weapon despite not having the best raw dps (also the fact that it doesn't miss unlike you probably make it actually better dps comparatively when you're bad at the game =p)
@@Laezar1 or you can just get yourself some kilonoids/shield charger/drop a mini nuke/spam RYNO/all of the above. Bet it would kill all enemies before one can even spawn "additional firepower"
As I said to other person in this comment section, Lancer deals 30% of its normal damage to arena bosses. Chainblade, B2 Brawler, Arachnoid, Megapede. That's it. 4 enemies take less damage. It isn't that terrible against the rest, especially when compared to zapper turrets or 🤢 walloper
@@lordhippopotamus9166 Right, but I still like them typically in arena setting where you can just throw down a bunch of turrets and then start destroying everything with your other weapons while the turrets deal with whatever's leftover.
Not saying it's the best weapon, but comparing the raw dps of the turret which is a support weapon with the raw dps of another weapon does it a disservice. Basically you should only take into account the time it takes to throw the turrets and that's the time it takes to do all of it's damage, albeit delayed.
It performs adequatly as a support weapon especially in wave situations where the ennemies are coming at you (as opposed to going forward in level where you left your turrets behind).
I've always preferred agents of doom/killnoids over turrets. The turrets are either too weak in some games or don't last long enough
If you try to do Poking with the Hoverbomb it kills the boss faster
No point in doing speed-run strats in a casual demonstration video. And I mention that in the description.

It might be weak but i would have loved to see the Clank zapper again in other games, instead of that lame Banana gun.

This video is for max level weapons, so there is no point in including the lvl1 and lvl2 wrenches. If you want to see how strong a LVL3 wrench is, the Clank Zapper is the same strength as its hyper strike.

Lmao no, it's a life saver for yeti. A single ammo crate return 2 ammo. It's mostly meant to use when you absolutely want every mofo to dissappear, with a damn awesome effect too.
