Miguel Atwood-Ferguson performs the orchestral tribute to J Dilla "Suite for Ma Dukes"at Grand Performances in California Plaza in Downtown Los Angeles.
On Saturday, June 24, 2017, Grand Performances hosted Miguel Atwood-Ferguson and his orchestra. Using the style of contemporary chamber music, this homage to producer-rapper J Dilla's highly influential work and unfulfilled legacy pays tribute to one of hip-hop’s most accomplished artists through orchestral interpretation. Multi-instrumentalist, producer, community leader and educator Atwood-Ferguson will also share selections from his upcoming release, "Les Jardins Mystiques."
