Hi Luke your recipes are scrumptious. I always, add one or two peeled and finely chopped golden delicious or sweer red apple to all my tomato based vegetarian sauces. Gives sweetness to the tomatoes. I made a mushroom toad in the hole the other day with thickly sliced brown mushrooms roasted with fresh sage and chopped onion and then poured over the batter and baked. Delish with vegetarian gravy. These look like perfect and cozy meals for fall!! I went vegetarian 6 months ago and have actually adapted pretty well, I honestly haven't had any temptations to go back to meat and I cannot wait to try these recipes :)

I was just telling my husband what with the prices of food going up in our grocery stores here in the U.S. we should convert to doing vegetarian 2-3 days a week to try to save on money. He agrees. The Mushroom and Cider Pie looks divine. We still have a few cooler days left here in Sth Australia as it is Spring so will put Puff Pastry on the shopping list and give that one a go. The Mushroom buns looked so good we are having those tonight but I only have Sweet Potatoes so will make chips with them. I have Gnocchi in the cupboard plus all of the other ingredients in the fridge so tomorrow's dinner is sorted too- many thanks Luke!!!
