Amy, I am 81 an u motivate me-just made angle food cake ,corn bread, crock pot w/ great white northern beans, chili dog mix, onion, got kitchen cleaned up, an now resting , I wish u would ask the older kids to chop, stir, etc to help u, also they need to learn an u r the best teacher

It would be great if ever country had them. Idk about Australia, but we have so much food waste here in the states. It’s such a great way to reduce that waste and save a little money at the same time. Even some of the stuff I find at our discount stores that are expired are still good.

True Connie. Yesterday I went into a Winco for the first time, the prices were not low on everything. I did see 25 pounds of carrots for $10.99. About $.44 cents a pound. They had chicken thighs for $.49 cents a pound. I to wish we had a discount shopping alternative.

If you are looking for something to do with the pie crusts, you can always do Quiche. It is simply eggs with bacon/ham and veggies with cheese (cook the crust half way first) . Perfect for dinner with a salad.

I wish I had half your energy. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis so summoning the energy I need after a day at work is hard. Next year I’m starting my own channel, mainly cooking and house organisation, one video a week to start at the weekends. I’ll see how it goes.

Wow, that was impressive! Just out of curiosity, would the stores provide the empty boxes the stuff gets shipped in if you asked? That way, for the box items, you can maybe use one of those instead of all the plastic bags?
They do sometimes load into boxes if they have them up front

I have heard that pa has sharp shopper
They had one on Seneca street across from the bank.. Not sure of its still up. They have outlets too. I moved from Buffalo almost 4 years ago and miss the cheap prices. I live in the capital region and it's a lot more spendy.
If you're willing to travel a bit, there's a place called Glenwood Foods in Seneca Falls. It's about 2 hours and 45 mins from south Buffalo. If you're willing to travel its worth it! I hope I helped 😊❤

I love the organization and the many ready made meals in the freezer. My question is this... does anyone look at the ingredients of this food? I don't care how cheap something is...if it has hydrogenated fat or too much sugar, I don't get it
I'm from North Carolina but had never heard of your town had to look it up to see what county you was in
Just wanted to let you know that there's also a place in Spartanburg called Wise Buys that has some good deals. Their frozen section is mostly restaurant deals, so sometimes you'll find full cases of meats and sometimes those cases are opened so you'll get a half or 1/4 case. You can also catch those soup bowls you use for storage in full sleeves sometimes. Bargains is still my absolute favorite store though.

I just logged on and your video popped up couldn’t be better timing. How I wish we had grocery discount stores I would be in my element we basically only have Woolworths, Coles and Aldi as major grocery stores in Australia and only the first two stores will deliver for a fee. No Winco, Sams Club or Trader Joes. Bulk purchase store is Costco who is suppose to be going online in November but not sure whether everything will be available online we shall see. I always feel putting everything you purchase away is a huge job I utilise half my linen closet with items too even though I have a pantry. My son thinks I’m crazy but I stock up on specials I use. Evan is a super kid helping his momma but then all your kids are great at chipping in. Loved the video but envious of the cheap groceries your bought lol!

Always ALWAYS check the exp date! Some stuff is okay to be close or even past it but you should always check because most times that’s why its discounted to begin with and sent to those stores down south. Me and my fiance went to a Jays Discount in NC when visiting a friend before going back home and came back with so much stuff for super cheap!

@amymaryon try meatballs with grape jelly and chili sauce it’s so good I like it better than the the Bbq but you have to cook it in the crockpot on high 4 to 5 hours stirring every 30 mins or so but the sauce gets thick the longer you cook
Those kodiak cakes are amazing. Taste really good. The pancake mixes you can also use to make muffins.

Wish we had discount stores, Aldis is cheapest here. Ice drinks, I dont drink soda hardly ever so the sparkling flavor waters are my go to.
Have you ever bought frozen burritos and but them in a baking dish then cover them with chili and the cheese on top then back for 30 to 45 minute. My family like really well and it's quick and easy.

Shopping at Deals is a BLESSING for sure!! We go once a month too because it’s a 45 min to an hour drive from GA. It has saved me a ton on lunch box fillers and snacks. Y’all should go down on a Saturday and hit up the Jockey Lot flea market, it’s just about 5 min away from Deals and is fun when it’s cooler outside!

Hello from Kiev Ukraine just finished a documentary, haven't had a chance to watch your videos really missed your videos,I did a really important project, documentry ,it was the hardest thing I've ever done I was working with street kids in Kiev I've really learned alot,I really needed God's strength to do it,every day I prayed for the kids it's hard really hard to watch these kids trying to survive on the streets.Now heading back to camp up north I am so tired but god keeps me going and gives me strength to go on. LOL

A lot of what's on the shelves are "Best Choice" and or "Save" brand. Those are sold by grocery stores that belong to the IGA...Independent Grocers Association out of KS.
Save is usually cheapest. Third tier "quality". Yellow packaging. On bottom shelves as often as not.
BC is a little more expensive (typically. But not always the case with canned veggies). 2nd tier quality. Sometimes side by side with Save. Esp drinks and water.
FWIW Save has GREAT canned Veg-All. 😆
Not sure how far that is from Clinton. I’m in a real small town. We’re near Greenville, SC. Presbyterian College is in Clinton. Not sure you’ve heard of it. I have my granddaughter 5 days a week. I don’t know how you’ve done it except God must have given you nerves of steel. I’m 63 and she runs me ragged. Constantly in cabinets and so much more. Love watching all your videos.
