This is just fantastic. Have swum and paddled many times on this beautiful and peaceful stretch of river. Some very large ide live under the swing bridge!
There is a Humber barge on the river that draws about 4 foot and manages ok, but I think you would have to time your arrival at the lock at high water as the channel to the lock is a little silted- though it's all soft stuff. The fixed Hull Bridge at Tickton might provide a problem if you cant drop the mast.
@@mykaskin thanks very much for the info. I'm actually looking for a winter mooring down there. I was worried that i might damage my fin keep at LT though and didn't want to heel over. With your advice in mind though i'll do some more investigation. Thanks. Great video by the way.
@@filipmacamhalghaidh9493 It depends on where you are mooring, but most moorings on the tideway dry out. You best bet is mooring above the lock if you're worried.
