Just worked with Aaron to create my rally style strap for my A-7, super excited. Will probably get a belt or two from him eventually too.

Just got an Ostrich from him recently. Did come with some errors in measurement. Also, it did have some scuffs on the leather, not the best first order from Aaron. would seriously think about purchasing from him again in the future.
Update: have the full leather as well. What no one mentions is how much better they fit and wear on your wrist than mass produced or even OEM bands. The leather is also quite a bit better - much thicker and he has a good eye for colour, style and will work with you to make a really good band (ordered one of his belts too and it has the same attention and care that his bands do)

Is it possible to remove the steel you attach the strap to and attach the leather strap directly to the bezel locking thing between the lugs? As long as you adjust the strap to fit into the smaller space the steel part is in.
I’ve seen them removed, but that includes removing the bezel as well. Not a good solution.
I’m going to start making homage combat straps..
I’m still looking for someone who’ll make custom rubber straps for the P01 😀

Hello! Curious: how difficult was it to change-out the strap? The pins attaching the strap seem so small; how were you able to drive them out?
The pins you see are the ends of spring bars. So push in the little pins to be able to access the strap ends and push the entire spring bar out the strap slots.
Do you have a P01? I might be selling mine along with the Aaron bespoke straps. It’s mint unworn condition.

Your strap change video was an epiphany for me though and in fact I’ve ordered a strap like your with slight modifications from AP. Good luck selling yours - there must be something new out there you’re lusting after!
