Hello everybody, as said in the video, incase there is a topic you would like a more in depth tutorial for, let me know :) Btw. I’m currently thinking of doing a Q&A sometime soon and other videos, in which I directly connect with all of you. Firstly, does that sound interesting? Secondly, I would ask you to follow me on Instagram (@teo_crawford), because I think that’s an adequate platform for me to easily connect with you. With that said, have a great week and see you next week! :)
This was my favorite video in the series of the post production! I loved how this film turned out and I can’t wait to see what you create next! This was EXTREMELY helpful! Thank you 😊
The combo of the drones was so cool... Also very nice work with the masks. Kinda wish you could make a post-apocalyptic full length feature set in Taipei/some tier 1 Chinese city (I loved blade runner) :P
Im a design student and we just started making films in university. your video series really helped me out a lot in order to understand the process of making a short film. your series is perfect for a beginner filmmaker to understand everything involved in this pretty complicated process. thank you!
Amazing video man! Loved this episode of pre production as people don't realise how much time and effort goes into editing etc. Really enjoyed how you went in depth with what you did with masking and that, so well done mate! Did a great job :D
Im a professional compositor/VFX artist and SFX artist. So I’ll give you a sneaky tip. Flip your masked lays and change scales. Then you can get away with a lot more. And instead of after effects, you may want to use Fusion which is free (unless you’ll need 3D then you need a license). And Fusion is very close to Nuke which is the defacto standard - but pricey.
I ejnjoyed this SO MUCH!!! dang this meant so much to me. people are not often vocal about post production process but gosh I enjoyed this SO MUCHHH especialling since we use the same programs!! AND THE COUGH SOUNDED FINE! Dont call out 'imperfections' bro, no one notices them!!!
I am planning to start my first short film soon after corona issues. And let me tell you ,i cant ask for anything better guide and motivation than this. Thanks a lot.
Daaamn, this takes way more effort than I expected! Now I can appreciate the short film even more, hahah. Anyway, great video as always!! Super interesting and extremely well explained & filmed. :)
Love this! Is there a software like Adobe (does some/most of the same things) but for free? I'm getting into making short films but I'm on a tight budget.
Ayy thanks mate! :)) I edit on a ASUS Zenbook UX310UA (it's got an 7th gen i7 processor, 16gb of Ram and a 500GB SSD). The performance depends a lot on how far in you are in the edit. So the rough cut of the film, which was all in 4k, went smoothly, but I should mention, that I had the quality set to 1/2 for smooth performance. But as soon as you add colour grading it gets laggy and I have to set the quality down to 1/4. And when you add effects such as in the video it becomes quite a pain. As you saw I managed to do the whole film with the laptop, but it was certainly not smooth hahah :D And btw. when exporting the 4k film the laptop was overheating like crazy. I hope this was some good info for you :)
For someone who never tried Adobe Premiere - I am absolutely shocked how bad the implementation of color grading is in that software in comparison to Resolve. The UI is on top of all things the worst. But hey, if it works... :)
Teo Crawford You very welcome my new friend !! 🎥💫 keep going !! Best for Your company ✨ If You have a moment pls stop by to my youtube channel “Optical Power” let me know what do you think 💭 I would love to have your advice Thanks ! Kader.

in this video I go over my general grading process :)
Hi, can I get your short film raw footage?
I loved your short film
And I want to practice it
Which app did you use for the sound design?
did u edit those on ur lap ? what config are u using ?
First of all your content is amazing🔥
What laptop are you using for editing and is it enough for 4k edits?
Ayy thanks mate! :))

@@teocrawford do you use proxies? I edit 4k footage and I always forget to use them but people say they help a lot!
@@TechRevue No, I'm always too lazy to make them hahah😅😅
Woooow
Greattt
Ahh thanksss!🤩

Ohh what - really? I've got to try Resolve then😅🙌🏼
Why behind the scenes gets more views than the own film
What is the name of this editing software
I'm in the Adobe Ecosystem - so the editor is PremierePro and the FX were in AfterEffects🙌🏼
