My mother was the lead pianist for a choir, and she always did her best to help them shine to their full potential at any given moment.
You wouldn’t believe how loud an opera singer can be, it’s insane, their supported voices can keep up with an 40+ pieces orchestra in full Crescendo. Some singers are so loud I occasionally have to close my ears and I’m sitting behind a mixing desk that’s some thirty meters away! All of that without any amplification, it’s the opposite, I have to amplify the orchestra in the pit on stage to have the singers hear the orchestra appropriately when they sing.
The hand-over-heart gesture of the lady at 0:38 says it all! Music.....one of the few unifying forces left in this broken, fragmented world of ours....Brava!

My late Mother was Italian. She would have gotten out of her wheelchair to sing along! Both the Pianist and Singer are exceptionally gifted and brought tears to my eyes. Absolutely beautiful!!
