Colorado certainly has diverse riding trails - this one look nice although that old railroad right-of-way looked sucky. Even on MTB tires, it'd be a slog. One thing about the summer weather here - and this is kinda tongue-in-cheek - if you don't like it, wait 15 minutes. LOL Thanks for sharing. 🤟
The trails were great in sections, but there was a descent there in the middle that was a bit less than ideal on a gravel bike. I do think it was some sort of old railroad grade type thing, very steady grade.
Bummer, I got in that loose rock rail bed my first ride there also! There is a rugged double track on the other side of the fence that goes the whole way back.
Yea I noticed that on some Strava routes after the fact @Andy MTB. That would have increased my enjoyment immensely, that railroad bed was rough. Oh well, builds character. The section just before it was pretty great.

nicely done man, i was gonna head down for the event this weekend but had to bail due to logistics. definitely soon
