Great video mate! As you're a beginner infront of the camera, you seem a natural! I have a Osprey Rook, I absolutely love it, it's the perfect system for me to get a lot more airflow between my back and the pack, I haven't come across anyone who isn't happy with their Osprey backpacks 👍🏼
@@RossInTheWild thx for the compliment appreciated 😁 the rook looks like a nice pack, clean lines. Very happy with the aether been out few times since this video, did bit of a review of it, as you say most people would be happy with one, but pricey but worth the investment 👍
@michaelhanly8575 you're very welcome! Yes, I put bungy cord through the loops of the rook, so I've got a nice compartment for my raincoat, etc. No matter what brand for me though, it has to have that air pocket otherwise I end up sweating too much, so yes, there's more expensive Osprey backpacks out there, but for me, the rook was perfect!
Hi Mike informative little video. 👍 Can I ask please what gaiters you use? You’ll love your new rucksack taking the weight off your shoulders and off your back is an amazing feeling. It’s your legs then that take the bulk of the weight 😃
@@marcfisher3417 Hi Marc, thx for the comment it's much appreciated. I'm new to this so any feedback to improve let me know I'm happy to receive. Have to check on gaiters when back in house and get back to you as they over 12 years old and can't recall, but whatever makes gaiters are vital piece of kit for boglands of Ireland 😁👍
Hi Mike, regarding your Rucksack, OSPREY are a fantastic choice and the Aether and Atmos are brilliant. OSPREY also make the Atmos 65 LT which is lighter version Mike
@@mikecoward3949 hi Mike, yes I love mine now been out a few times since with it, I'm behind on getting videos published. Marvelous how sits on hips reducing effort needed. I very nearly got the atmos but think Aether was better choice for loads I'm carrying, all the best thx for commenting 🙂
@@visman24 hi Dec, not long about 10 mins but wasn't rushing, very easy. Hardest part is finding good spot and constantly changing my mind as never perfect one 😁
