As a Minnesotan who has had a chance to live in other parts of the country, Minnesotans are genuinely happier than people from most other parts of the country. We take for granted how wonderful our state is until we move elsewhere and discover how bad it can get.
High cost but their wages anual equal out to it , Alaska is the same way , crazy high prices but they also make money for example I saw starter cashier makes 100k a year but definitely is inconvenient due to it being a separate island .
@@6speedArksDefinitely not true. Cost of living in Hawaii is nearly 80% above the national average, meanwhile the average salary among all Hawaiians is a little over $70,000 a year. Keep in mind a study from Purdue University found that the minimum salary “to be happy” in Hawaii is just under $200,000 a year, the highest in the nation.
@superpig5000 As far as I can tell, that's because they're one of 17 states that reported a net loss of residents. My parents moved from Hawaii because they found better opportunities elsewhere, but while they were there, living comfortably was nearly impossible. People move from Hawaii because living there is just not sustainable for the average citizen. Also, I'd like to bring up the fact that there are new high-income luxury hotels and apartments in many places where there used to be actual neighborhoods of Hawaiian residents.
Idaho should be way higher up. I’ve lived here for 3 years now, and the people are amazing and so friendly. But I live in the north part. Not sure what’s going on down in the south part though
Maryland is awful. I lived in Delaware for a number of years, I lived along the border of Maryland in West Virginia for a number of years. Spent a lot of time near DC and Baltimore… Maryland is literally the second to last state I’d choose to live in.

Most of the people I've met around the world know more than a few states (even if they couldn't describe their exact location.) People In jersey are mean and miserable
No we aren’t i smoke a lot of weed so im happy but its a forced happy lol 😅

I grew up in NJ. I have been in TX almost 26 years. I have NOT been back to NJ. I would NEVER live there again. I hate the winters.
@@jackwhitbread4583Actually Jersey in this case is short for New Jersey. It’s very common for Americans to use Jersey to shorten New Jersey.

It’s because too many New Yorkers live in Florida
Ny is the absolute worst place in the world to live
I agree
@superpig5000no it’s because of northerners, Midwesterners, and west coasters.
I live in delaware.. so i can honestly say, no one's happy here... or in new jersey 😂
Having lived in Connecticut for some time, no one is happy…
