- This is the second time these Plover's have nested in our yard.
8 babies in one year!
As they did last year, a few days after the last egg hatches they up and leave into the outside world.. but not before raising hell for a couple of hours.
Now they're roaming the streets making noise all over the neighbourhood... At least I can walk down my driveway or into my yard without being swooped at, and I can sleep at night without the sound of these birds in my backyard waking me up at random hours.
I also hope you enjoy the commentary by my children, of course one of them noticed a "TURD" on the ground.. 😁 kids!!!
Fearlessly protecting their precious ~ same way We all could be at Once, taking back our entitlements for Good..
Mother Nature is squawking louder now than ever.
Thanks for sharing 😊
Indeed! A few weeks ago the Mother was protecting her nest as my lawn guy mowed the grass. She was ready to take on the ride-on mower and the man sitting on top.. I think she would die to protect her eggs.
Thank you JJ much love always. 🩵💜🩵💜
That is so cool ❤
LOL yeah they do create some entertainment that’s for sure.
Cheers John 🩵💜🩵💜
Thanks for sharing loved the kids saying bye bye sweet ❤
One of the easiest UA-cam videos I’ve ever made! 😂
I thought it would be a really cool thing to share.
Even though they’re extremely annoying with their constant swooping and their insidious screeching, I kind of miss the S.O.B’s😂
I can still hear them in the distance though.. and I’m sure they’ll be back next season.
Much love Beth🩵💜🩵💜
So much fun !
It was interesting to see them up so close.. I have a strong suspicion that someone in my neighbourhood has removed or harmed the chicks.. I have not seen them anywhere and the adults seem very agitated.
So funny and cool! 😄💛👍
Yeah it’s funny when you’re safe behind glass.. it was kind of like being at the zoo, watching animals in an enclosure.
Now they’re across the road terrorising the neighbours. 😂
Much love always Richie
🩵💜🩵💜
Meanwhile, the cat is planning his/her attack strategy. Noisy blighters😂🙏❤️🇬🇧
I just let her out this morning, she’s a little unsure as to where they are, keeping one eye open I reckon! 😂
Cheers Mightyatom 🩵💜🩵💜
🧠💪🤝💚🙏
Hey Mem! 💦🌊💧🧠🩵💜🩵💜
Awesome... we have pretty much the same going on with Ducks...lol... 🙏❤😎
Oh hell yeah, ducks and geese can behave in much the same way but at least they don’t have spurs on their wings.
I was bitten by a goose when I was kid, it chased me and bit me.. took a few years for me to get over that experience. 😂
Much love always Claudio 🩵💜🩵💜
@@AliceInWonderland2756 spurs on the wings, wow, ouch... lol... Yeah those geese, they sure know how to get our attention...lol...
@@iyoutome Yeah they can use them if needed but don’t often make contact with humans. They got so close to my cat a week or so ago, I reckon they’d definitely make contact with a smaller animal.
The amazing Plovers standing in their power. Nature teaching us how to protect little ones. 😀 This was a cool share. All the best intended to you and your family.💙
Hey Lisa, yes they are definitely protective over their little ones.
Their constant noise is rather unpleasant but it’s such a pleasure watching their little chicks waddle around.
Much love Lisa🩵💜🩵💜
His reflection wants a fights back
I actually wondered what would have happened if I’d opened the door?😂
I can’t imagine having one of those birds inside my house!
Cheers Ted 🩵💜🩵💜
wow up close & personal interspecies experience - how cool for the girls, esp! i doubt the cat appreciated it much ;) & yes, quite loud! (thx for the heads up/volume down on that one LOL) omg the lil babies = TOO CUTE!
Yeah it was actually a really cool experience to be able to watch them so closely, and nope.. the cat is terrified of them. 🙀
They’re across the road now so we can still see the chicks when we leave the house, and yes they’re absolutely the cutest little things.
🩵💜🩵💜
Pretty cool! The chirping wasn't really annoying to me. I could stand 10 minutes of that before 10 seconds of a random tv commercial. I wonder how long your cat stayed & waited for them to return. Thx for sharing Silvi
“Chirping” 😂 more like SCREECHING! There actually a protected species but I love animals and have no problem sharing my yard with them a couple of months each year, even though they don’t want to share it with me! Anything is better than 10 seconds of TV commercials though.
My cat wants nothing to do with them, I just put her outside and she was a little uncomfortable. She’s sitting in the sun now.
Cheers 4 Jacks 🩵💜🩵💜

Woke up on wrong side of the 🪺 🤣... Silvi's Aussie aviary 🤣🫂💐✌🏽🫶
“Silvi’s Aussie aviary” 😂 yeah I just woke up and I can hear them over at the subdivision.
That’s where they used to live before they came here, once they build houses there I don’t know where they’re going to go.
They sure as hell aren’t staying here! 😂
