I think this is the first assembly video I've ever seen which addresses the need to calibrate the throttle when setting the plane up. I've always wondered why every video seems to skip this vital step. Good job, Wes!
That is the VERY BEST video I ever watched about assembly and transmitter setup! I search these videos looking for help and yours are the absolute BEST. You clearly walk a person through every detail. You don't make it confusing like some others do. Whatever equipment you use to do your videos are first class compared to others with muffled audio. I always freaked out when I couldn't find a bnf model in the list on the nx6 but your the ONLY guy who walks someone through every step from a blank acro model file. Its really not that intimidating after watching this. Excellent! Thanks
Love this plane. And really enjoy your videos. So a question. I'm looking for my next frequent flyer. Moving away from all but 2 glow planes. My local hobby store has a SU-28 GEN 2 siting on a shelf. Would you recommend this plane? Vs the RV-7? I feel the Sukhoi is more capable of learning more Aerobatics/3D I've got a HH Cherokee so I feel the RV-7 is too similar. Looking for something different Thanks in advance for your advice.
I think that the electrical connections in the wing will not last long if I install the wings everytime I take the plane to the field. That's why I keep it assembled and as its wingspan is just 1.1m I have no problems in carrying the plane fully assembled (minus the propeller) in the car.
Loved mine! BUT, being bnf with an AR631, both tail servos were crap from factory, & reciever died coming out of a hammer head on the 3rd flight, bounced & caught on fire. (Just my luck) Im sure i HAD a Friday/Monday BNF & hopefully, was a 1 of a kind. Just glad i ened up with it other than someone who this 1 (mine!) was their 2nd plane. 🤦♂️🤷🛫🛩️
Could happen to anyone. Glad it was ME. I replaced it with my night timber x! 👍 The RED dots on the wing are NOT the CG marks! About 5mm to 7mm further back! (CG is in the manual. Cause that makes too much sense! 🤦♂️🤷)

☃️ Hello 👋.
👍...
Soon, people won’t know what a cable looks like.. or even know where the motor is... these are great but it’s dumbing down the hobby
That happened to cars decades ago. Call it what you will, but this form of "progress" is inevitable...
