I enjoyed your video. It was very informative and your approach was easy to understand. I too had to replace a very similar looking brass/ceramic cartridge. Mine was actually leaking out the top where that little clip goes. Now I can see that the smaller O-rings on the stem insert part must have failed. As you mention, there are repair kits for these things, but they don’t include the little O-rings that leaked on my cartridge. Anyhow, it seems most of these things are of a generic size. I did at first struggle to find a replacement. The original one on my Graff faucet was stamped “made in Germany.” I found one on Amazon manufactured by Lasco that looked identical and was advertised as a “generic” size. It fit and worked out. I hope you found a replacement as well.

could you possible lap the 2 ceramic faces to make a smoother seal? It looks like the 2 larger washers create the pressure to hold these 2 together....nope tried it. The 1200 grit didn't even scratch this ceramic. New one on way.

The ceramic washers didn't appear to be scratched. I think your video would have been even more useful if you had cleaned the valve by soaking the disassembled parts in vinegar to remove limescale etc. Replace any worn out O rings and coat the ceramic surfaces with plumbers grease or vaseline. The valve would look and work like new.
