Arpad ,Attila were Turk..According to byzantine sources hungaria was western Tourkia.. Whole gifts which were sent by europeans to hungaria was called you as Turk. Now let me talk about common words. That words aren't related with ottoman. You don't know anything about ottoman. Ottomans prefered farsian ,arabic ,french instead of Turkish.. If you read ordinary ottoman text ,you can not find single Turkish origin word.. That's why if that words were related with ottoman.. They would be not Turkish origin words.. They would be arabic ,farsian ,french.. but let me remind Alma is Turkish origin word 🤭

The hungarian word "basz" originally meant "push it in", just later got the modern meaning which means "f*ck". For example, the hungarian word for witches, is "boszorkány", the first part ("bosz-") its the changed "basz", so the meaning of "boszorkány" is "who is the push the curse in to someone".
"Bas" in Azerbaijani or Azeri Turkish has also similar meaning such as "Pushing something" - "nəyəsə bas+maq" or "Pushing button" - "düyməyə bas+maq" and at the same time it can also be used in offensive way to mean "f*ck someone" - "kiməsə bas+maq" 😀 or to mean "Get away" - "Bas bayıra" or to mean "crowd" - "bas+a+bas" and so on :) "Bas" in Azerbaijani is used very frequently as a part of phrases and creates different meanings. From here you can see 161 phrases which contains "bas":

Basmak in Turkish might also mean "to push" as well as to step, "Yere basmak" -> "To step on ground" -> "Düğmeye basmak".Basmak also can mean "to raid".
Plus we Turks also made the verb "To put" (Koymak) a swear word. You can swear by saying "Imma put in you"

Aibat Tileubaiuly kazakh is a turkic languages and all turkic lanuguages are the same seperate to diffeent dialects..
I can understand every basic word in Kazakh. I think Kazakh and Turkish are far more similar because both our ancestors lived in Turkic Khaganate and we see the roots of our words in the same dialect in circa 800s but Hungarians went europe before Turkic Khaganate in the Time of the Huns. So we cannot understand Hungarian as easily as we understand Uzbek.

2:22 we have it as verb aswell. "Baltalamak" same meaning. Mess it up. Specially when you intent do mess up someone else's work.
El also means in Turkish is away. "Ellere gitti" can be used for they went away.
it's not away.. El= 1. carrier( bearer) .2. hand 3. else one (another person) 4. land (or area) Eller=else ones ..Yaban eller= stranger people ( foreign lands)
Before starting my comment just want to let you all guys know that my goal is not criticize. Here to spread some informations :)
It's logical that the word "varoş" means ghetto in Turkish since Hungary was ruled by Ottoman Empire and used as suburban.
As Petra mentioned, the word "balta" has a use as verb in same meaning in Turkish aswell which is "baltalamak".
There are lots of other meanings for the word "el" which one of them is "foreigner, someone outside of the one's family".
The word "sákal/çakal" neither Hungarian nor Turkish, it's in fact coming from Persian "şaġāl" during the Ottoman Empire period. Which later on taken from French people as "chacal". (What a trip this word is having!) Thanks, Persian anyway!

@Atilla GokTurk no difference man, both are called Turkish in many linguistic works. Azerbaijani is a dialect of Turkish, like other dialects of Turkish like Yörük, Balkan Gagauz.

Varoş is actually from Hungarian and szakáll from Turkish, but for example in the case of öl or teker the two languages are only distantly related.
Öl can mean somebodies lap too, not just to kill

First of all, I want to say thank you guys for recording this video, it's really enjoying to watch it. And I have to say that I haven't generally put any comments on the videos I watched, actually no I have never done this but this time it didn't sound like something bad to me, thanks 🙏🏻 just now what only problem I have is that I don't know how to start it is, though🙄... Anyway, I should start to write the words that placed its letters in the same/right order as Hungarian thus it can be easily followed every words what I'll write, I guess☺️
Ablak(window) - ablak(it's used as an adjective in our language yet I am not sure what the meaning of it is also dictionaries which I use do😅)
Szállás(accommodation in Hungarian) - Salaş(it means extremely large, plenty(used for clothes) tatty, shabby, poor etc. in Turkish)😂
Kap(to get) - kap(it means "to get" and "bowl" in Turkish)
Emel(I don't know what it's the meaning of it in Hungarian) - emel(goal, purpose in Turkish)
Évre(year) - evre(stage of something, degree of something)
Szesz(spirit) - ses(sound)
Sel(wind) - sel(flood in Turkish but there is a word that is the most similar to it, "yel"(it means wind in Turkish. It's quite same!)
Ád(to give) - Ad("name" but if it's written in the way "at" whereas its specific meaning is "to throw away", you can hear clearly that we'd likely use it as the verb you do cuz it has a common meaning).
Cici(breast) - Cici(means sweet, cutie etc, usually used as an adjective to describe human beings (such as especially babies and children) or animals.
Likewise there are different words that are associated with each other because of their pronunciations, even if they aren't literally the same, it is really hard to evaluate how much different from each other :)
"Kuku/kutu" means the female genital organ in Turkish hahahah so perhaps you were right actually about the opposite meaning of words😅 cause I thought same way as watching the video...then I said Kuku could be opposite in meaning to Kuki in Hungarian😂😅
Then "pipi" refers to the male genital organ and generally used by children. However, I don't know whatever there is any evidence of the semiotic relation between those two words-pipi and pisi:)
Bodor(curly) - bodur(short, stocky, dwarf etc. so it can refer something short in Turkish.)
Szó(word) - söz/sözcük(word) the suffix of cük you've seen is added to the end of a word to make any words dimunative and what the reason of using this suffix is that word means "a single" distinct meaningful element of writing so mean the expression of "a single" is actually referred to the -cük suffix☺️
By the way, we use it as a verb like szól you use:) or the word of dictionary in Turkish also is made by taking szó as Hungarian is:)
Gyere(to come) - gel(to come)
Szalag-I guess, in Hungarian it means a type of tape so it's a material to be used yet in Turkish it is written as "salak" and it's also referred to an adjective, like idiot.
Bacsi(uncle) - bacı(it means like aunt or sister then I guess it's used more by men in Turkey for women/girls and it's a slang word a bit, in case if a man uses it in the big cities of Turkey hahahh so mean young girls or women over 40-50 living in any metropolitan cities don't like this word😂😅 However, I don't think there's a problem with it for women living in any villages of Turkey).
Tű(needle) - Tığ(means knitting needles and then also pronounced like "tııııı" so mean the word of tığ has a long vowel too).

There are really similar words with the same meaning too, because 9,5% of the hungarian vocabulary have Turkic origin.

No my man, Hungarian has many more words that come from Turkic. Mostly cuz of the Cumans thing and Turkic rule over Hungary. But the language still is a north asiatic language and has nothing to do with Turkic.

El also means foreigner or someone who lives away in turkish. But its usage is not common.
We also have "El" with the similar meaning.

çıkış (chikish) means 'exit' in Turkish
csikis (pronounced exactly the same - chikish) means 'ticklish' in Hungarian. This word made me laugh when I was in Turkey. :D

Also can be used as someone rude and far from being romantic. Especially for man :)
5 El means hand for sure but also can be used as Stranger or Others.

I dont know why probably because we live in the centre of Europe but from 2 ppl in Hungary 1 will write with t and other with tt as even our country has a Hun in it 1 will say hun not equal magyar(hungarian) but other will state magyar is hun. Personally I think HUN means Home (hungarian word today is "hon"), Hungaria means homeland, 10-12k years ago there was an ice-cap over Europe, in the Carpathian basin wasnt because the many warm spring-waters and the relatively thin earth's crust here, so many ppl around was locked down here during the last age, that why we call it home and huns are the original homelanders... and thats why we have so many culturally common things from Turkey to Ireland

Seni vermem “el”lere= literally means I don’t let you go “away”. So it is actually the same. We sometimes use it just to mean sb. else. Edit: buszi= buse (kiss, n.) in Turkish.

By the way, I like these videos just it is a bit annoying that this Hungarian girl has not got any knowledge about old style words and their meanings.

@@Throrma well I didn't read what he wrote because it's too damn long, but the fact that Turks and Hungarians lived under the same place in central asia doesn't mean you are Turkish. Languages interacted, that's all. Also you have mixed with indigenous Europeans and we have mixed with anatolians (historical name of Turkey). Even if we were related once genetically it wouldn't mean anything. But linguistically Turkish and Hungarian have so much in common because of the historical connection, especially when it comes to grammar rules.
