For Mega Man’s 10th anniversary, Capcom really went all out with MM8. The anime cutscenes have so much heart put into them, even if the English dub is hilariously bad.

It's too bad we never got to hear this in the U.S. and Europe. "Metal Heroes" was a great instrumental theme, but this theme really puts the ROCK in Rockman.

Welp with the power of electronic communication you can find anything, including a song called electronic communication. This song was ahead of its time
An intro from a 1996 game predicted one of the biggest problems of the current generation and with badass visuals too. God, I love the 90's.
The song is really far ahead of their era, still fresh and true as of today
So many video game characters got animes and awesome stuff...
but if there's one video game character who really deserves an anime,
it's Mega Man.

I absolutely love the way "SPARK shiteru(/sasete) ROCK ACTION" is delivered- the energy of the chorus is amazing.

Mega Man 8 is by far the most overhated game in the entire Mega Man franchise. Never understood how people would think this game is flat out bad. It's a perfectly fine and decent game. Plus we got this song out of it, so come on.
It's better on Saturn, but not by much. I think X4 is overrated too but it does have cool anime cutscenes. The gameplay in MMX4 and MM8 is too clunky for me.
I still haven't played Mega Man 8, but I heard this at the end of SomeCallMeJohnny's Mega Man 8 review and was instantly hooked. It's just so damn catchy!

Fun Fact: This Opening was also used as the Opening for Super Adventure Rockman.
First time I heard it was in a video that translated that "game" to Spanish. Never forgot it ever since.
This song is both awesome and heartbreaking, because a part of me cannot accept that this ISN'T the opening of a 50+ episode 90's Mega Man anime covering all the games up to this one with a cheesy but sincere dub that's now a beloved classic due to heavy rotation on Toonami. My longing to pull media from alternate timelines only grows...

I like to think of this song as the theme to the Mega Man series.
I find it highly ironic that a game about robots features a song speaking against the negatives of the digital age, but whatevers, it's rock solid jam anyway. I LOVE it and it's become a go-to song for celebrating Megaman for me. :D
Considering the events of the entire Mega Man timeline ranging from Classic to Legends and the negative events that unfold in it, I think it fits perfectly lmao.

Actually, is it still a Rockman theme? The lyrics wouldn't seem out of place when describing the world Ryuusei no Rockman (Mega Man StarForce) takes place in, IMHO.

I dont know about Gaenesia, but the singer from MMX4 theme never sells the rights of her song to the American Capcom, maybe the MM8 song is the same case.
