True, everyone knows the DLC is where FromSoftware takes off the gloves and are no long playing around. The Bloodborne DLC only has 6 new bosses and The Living Failures is the only easy boss of the bunch.

Agreed, and the quote-unquote 'difficult' bosses are all toward the end of the game, that's like 60-70 hours in, by the time I started getting to the actual challenging boss fights, I was ready to play something else.

Ghost and goblins for the nes is probably harder then this game. The entire series is difficult. The difference is that in this DLC they give you options to make the game easier. You just have to look for it. Also remember this is fromsoftware they always make games difficult like Armor core.

And it turns out that the developer was a man of his word.
At first the DLC seems really hard, but after a while, it's fine. I think people forgot how to play the game. If you fail with one strategy, you need to try another. For me it was I had to use shields again. There's also a mechanism that makes you stronger in this DLC with fragments that you find and can use at the fire place.
I haven’t played a soul game since I beat Demon souls years ago great game but the difficulty turned me off from other souls like games like lies of P & Elden rings. I think they good games tho.
ER gives you a lot of options to be easier. But it still hard.
