Don't know personally about Alka but the way she talks about the old "live music recording having soul" is hypocrisy. Some of the Biggest Classic songs in Indian cinema (from even composers like Laxmikant pyarelal and co) is copied but that time it was harder to find. Now Bollywood copies less as they will get copyright striked so they keep making remixes.

This is exactly the reason I stopped watching bollywood altogether. Being someone who works in this industry I know how money hungry these people are. The Heropanti 2 poster ? Dude, a freelancer could have done a better work than that for $5 on fiverr. They must have gotten some internship student in a studio to make the poster lmao. We are constantly rotoscoping footage from various movies which leads to such low effort movies. Sickening.

First of all if you are playing copyrighted music then anyday someone can pull down your video on a copyright claim. So be careful. Secondly even Hollywood movies copy each other's scenes. Take the matrix scene as an example and count how many times it has been copied. Infact any epic scene that you see in any movie of H/Bollywood is usually a copy mix of 3-4 legendary scenes from other movies. Baaghi's issue is it's forgettable plot not it's stunt scenes. Thirdly try learning art and then making baaghi's posters and you will understand that what you think is just a small change still would've needed significant time for an artist to do. So your "mehnat nhi ki" argument is empty. Irony is you critiquing Baaghi when your own video feels formulaic. Anyways not fan of Baaghi. Only posting to show a broader view of things to give you food for thought.
As a music producer, Troyboi didn't copied any song he just sampled it(using small part of a song on their own) he also sampled a advt. song in the same song(Do you), Tanishq totally ripped off the Troyboi's Do you! Sampling a song is not illegal but ripping off whole composition is.
