Man, I think I took a wrong turn on the internet here. You're making me think and feel things. I've been multitasking and listening to endless UA-cam videos in a depression spiral for a bit and this is the first time I've put my phone/Switch down and just connected with and tried to process the "content"
    That was kind of refreshing.

Sounds like the right turn to me 😂 Nah, I'm glad the video gave you at least a moment of that.
I've really slowed down on posting videos because I recently realized I didn't want to make "content" anymore. Wasn't totally confident this video would reach people the way I wanted it to, but this is reassuring, so thanks for taking the time to leave a comment ahah.

It appears that I've discovered you at an interesting crossroads. For what it's worth, I think you have a unique voice both literally and figuratively. So I hope you can find a type of video to make that is fulfilling. I'm curious to see how you and your channel grows from here.

Tbh, I would never listen to a rich streamer that doesn't care for it's own evironment and health, talking about politics and ethics. Listening to anyone talking about heavy topics on the internet is a red flag for me, to make my own opinions and not listen to others. So, no. I don't think he is right. He just has a lot of time on his hands and that gets him thinking. People have always been idiots, more now than ever with "shorts" and "tiktok". I can't watch a single of those videos without thinking: "omg, put that damn phone away and just help that animal you so want to help, and don't record it's suffering for your own benefit, just so you can put in some dumb text over it later with sad music and text to speech." And people love that kinda stuff. They don't think, they just see "aww, look at that person being helpful." Like, I dunno. For me, the internet became the pool of idiocracy. And the more people consume it, the less they will think for themselves.

@makikuma91 I like listening to a variety of people talk.
You know what's even more messed up is that some people fake the whole scene of the animal being in distress so that they can "save" it. But there are those who care more about their image and $$$ than being decent.
But yeah, this has always been part of human nature. Tech/social media just amplified it. But social media also works to warp your perception of reality. One of the best things I did for my mental was deleting my socials.

I assure you if you look through history you will find that things did not just become "idiotic" . The idiot lives deep in us all, in fact I find some one as obviously flawed as Asmongold excluding himself from that absurd. Pick any period you wish and you'll find an idiot , unimaginable horror , and astounding beauty . The scales are always rebalancing.

@radioactivegarbage_punk5645 Yeah, it's easy to blame society or whatever kind of person you want, but all criticisms like that are just a reflection of your inner world. But it takes humility to see that. It's a dangerous thing when someone believes themselves to be immune to the kinds of behavior they abhor.
