I just picked up 2! I got them in RI. I'm from NY. I randomly ran into this pet store while visiting family. Always wanted one and in Ny it's sooo expensive. They want $100-$150. I got mine for $25 each. One albino. One gray! They are so cute! They already eating live black worms.
As soon as I move out of my parents house I'm thinking of getting an axolotl so I have two questions for you hoping you'll answer. Is there a certain time after moving that you should get one? Do you need to get the things first before buying one? These might be stupid but I'd rather get answers from someone who's owned and owns an axolotl instead of looking these questions up and only getting wiki answers pages instead of websites that help me.
