82 El Camino first look.... and a fireworks show?

I recently bought an 82 Chevy El Camino sight unseen out of Kentucky. I hauled it back and this is the first time I have given it a good look over. Lets see what she tells us. Here's a shout out to Derek at ‪@ViceGripGarage‬ .
This is my third G-Body Elco. My first is a 1980 in two tone brown. My second is the 1985 blue one you have seen in autocross and other videos. Now this white one. I think this a going to town rig. Lets look it over, shall we? ~P

Oil leak like that can be rear intake gasket blew out or the oil pressure sending unit is loose or leaking thru it.
Don't do the overload shocks, puts too much stress on shock mounts. Get new springs, they work better and are relatively cheap. You can also get the airbags that go inside the coil springs, they work great and are cheap way to go to, they don't upset the handling either. I can get you a link if intreasted. I have used the airbag kits on Malibu and Scions that we regularly over loaded.
For the fuel there use to be self regulating fuel pumps for 7psi.

Thanks Frank. Based on the spread of oil and the gasket goop I see, I'm betting the rear intake gasket. I'll do a more thorough job checking the oil pressure gauge connection though. I think the airbags in the springs would be a better second choice. Regarding the coil overs, when you convert these cars to true coil overs such as QA1, they use the stock shock mount location. I have them on my 85. I hope they don't tare off. If you have a link for the airbags I'd like to take a look.
Regarding fuel pumps, Edelbrock has a 6psi version. I was surprised when I learned how much pressure a stock pump put out. ~P

Might want to check the heater core for leakage on the passenger floor - it's typical - ask me how I know - SMH

I hadn't thought of that....since finding the smashed in heater box in the engine compartment, it would make sense. I show it in the next video. Thanks.
