The 2nd one seemed to be laid out the best with the better features. Liked the lights in the kitchen and the storage.

Even though we love our smaller 17ft trailer, I think we all love seeing other ideas. The last one was nice for a larger TT and those front kitchens are really nice. The bed is so hard to make even in our walk around bed, I can't imagine the ones that are tucked against the wall like the first TT. Having spent time in ours now, I truly believe the walk around bed, large bathroom and storage are key factors. And if you are a little OCD like me and love to organize then it's really fun!

This is kinda like my (Susan) version of House Hunters, just love seeing what's out there! We have a Class C with a corner bed - hate it! Storage OCD...I think we might be related! 🤣. Thank you for your support!

I love front kitchens. We had a '66 International trailer when the kids were growing up. I loved that front kitchen so much that when we got home, I would insist we eat our first meal in the trailer. We had that trailer for almost 2o years and never had a great day problem with it. I wish I they built them like that now.

They are all beautiful. Being single, I'd be fine with the first. Only one slide. 👍 As for hanging clothes, in my van I put multiple hangers in waterproof garment bags and hang on the shower bar. Easy to grab and remove when using the shower. I do love front kitchens. Thanks for the review!

I've been really wanting the NOBO RVS1 & I love the slide & set-up n the RVS2 but I'd love to see a RVS3 with the 1 bedroom and the slide n the living room/kitchen on the kitchen wall to open up the living room & also I love the Murphy bed with drop down table so during the day it can be used as a dining room/office/exercise room. You can do so many activities in there 😂.. But after seeing the 3rd gorgeous front kitchen camper with the bright, luxurious & modern design, huge bathroom & really great master I'm now torn on which one I want now... 😮😊..
Y'all are amazing and very thorough &vi really appreciate what you're doing, although a little jealous 😌. Traveling the world 🌍 in a camper or tiny home (THOW) IS MY DREAM... So i would absolutely love to have a van camper or class C but they're so far outta my price range 😭...
    Thank you both..

The Forest River Grand Surveyor 268FKBS is a beautiful travel trailer! With a lot of WOW factor. Check the used market for a Class B or Class C in good condition. We bought our first motorhome from Facebook Marketplace. If you find something you like, please get it inspected to avoid a money pit. It is well worth the cost. We didn't and we learned the hard way. We had a busted water pump. It wouldn't have stopped us from buying it but we could've avoided the little flood. 😬 Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!

15:55 - The first thing I’d do is add a panel to make that under table extension usable space for something thin. 😊

Love, love the first trailer! I wish my husband and I would have seen this before we bought a used trailer. It doesn't have as much storage inside as ours but it has the space for us and 2 dogs, one of which is almost 70 lbs. He could have used the couch as his bed at night like he does our trailer.

I have an older kitchen in the front trailer and I love it. And you're right - none of the newer trailers have even half as much storage room.

Great video as always. Also great article in your last e mail article about the cost of RV ownership. It is so easy to fall into a financial trap thinking you can afford to buy an RV but not understand the “cost of ownership” which includes use, maintenance, wear and tear, insurance, fuel, insurance. It would suck to buy an RV that you can’t afford to use.

The first one definitely had no travel access. The second one you can get to the bathroom, maybe the fridge but.. you can't sit in the slides or sleep in the bed.

It's amazing that despite the Jayco and the Keystone in this video having pretty much the exact same layout. Regardless of being more expensive the Keystone is pretty crappy, but the Jayco one looks fantastic. The Keystone definitely gives you less for more and the Jayco gives you more for Less. All in the same footprint with the same layout.

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  Місяць тому +1

Many RVs have the same layout even though they seem to be from different manufacturers. Turns out that Thor owns Jayco and Keystone so there you go! Same floor plan with different features...Good eye!

@@RVBlogger I have been shopping for a camper or a Class C motorhome for the past several months and have been completely overwhelmed. Your videos have been invaluable and the best at helping me find just the right one. I think I have actually zeroed in on one because of your particular way you categorize them and how you do your reviews.
I like that you concentrate more on the layout as that's been the biggest problem for me sifting through the pile because of exactly the above mentioned issue. You'll find a layout you like and then come to find out there's a bunch of other stuff about it that you don't like. By using your videos to comparison shop Brands versus layouts Etc I have been able to cut to the chase so to speak. At least I think so. I haven't even had a chance to look at your website yet either so I'm looking forward to that as well. Also I wanted to add that your suggestions for adapting to a layout that's not exactly perfect has also been extremely helpful. One of the problems I had was trying to figure out where to put a litter box as I have three cats. My goal was to put it in one of the storage cubbies that have access to the outside but it's either passable from the inside or simply has a board that I can cut to the shape of a little cat flap. This way I can put a catio on the outside and also makes it much easier for me to scoop the litter box and literally toss the Poo Into the Woods without having to haul the dang thing around. Plus having an outside sprayer is pretty much a requirement because even with tub or shower inside you can't really rinse clumping litter into an RV black tank without causing serious problems. I've been able to gain all of this information to pick through the million needles in a million haystacks from your well presented information. I particularly like how you cover multiple units in one video in the time that most UA-camrs spend on one with it usually just being a simple sales pitch that goes on for a half hour. I wish that UA-cam algorithm had sent me to you sooner.

@@RVBlogger and for the benefit of others I will add that in this particular instance the fit and finish of the Jayco not only looks better but certainly has more thought to detail in it yet it's cheaper. One particular point I noticed was that in the Keystone there was that cabinet door that couldn't really open well because of the slide out regardless of it was in or out. Stuff like that.

Great reviews Susan and Mike. 1st one, meh. No hanging wardrobe closet, no splash guard around the cooktop. Fit and finish seems rushed and cheap. 2nd and 3rd, just a copy and paste. Fit and finish is on the economy side of things. Front or rear kitchens are great though. Also, almost a week passed before I was notified for this video. Also also, could you state if the toilets are porcelain or plastic? I have, and I know others who have had problems with the plastic ones breaking rather quickly. Keep up the good work.

Hi Tuvia! We had a glitch last week and this video launched the same time as our Internet video and that has seemed to cause some issue. Sorry about that. We batch shoot our videos at many RV shows have quite a bit of content already shot, but moving forward we can definitely include the type of toilet. Thanks so much for your support!

On that Jayco, I would rather have a solid wall behind the bed, but the bed on the opposite side where the storage and door is. So in other words flip the bedroom set up makes more since. And better flow. As for the dining living area I would have an L shared extended couch with table at the end by the kitchen with charging ports and collapsible 2 chairs. As for the bathroom, I would change it to have an incinerator toilet, with the sink area where the toilet is and the toilet where the sink cabinet area is with one door entry which allows for more counter space and cabinet space too.

Would like to know how much walking room and accessibility there is with the slide in? The trailers always show with the slide out but rarely with them in and you can't always put your slide out if you stop somewhere at night..would be good to know how much room there is..thanks

I agree that Keystone was terrible. It was like a more expensive yet more cheaply made ripoff of the Jayco that was done way better in the same footprint for less money. Totally night and day.
