STEVE, This Marine is back in a seat after 20 years of recovery from a temporarily fatal motorcycle wreck. Feels really good to be trucking again. Thanks for the inspiration brother. CARRY ON!
That 4-wheeler was an idiot. If you want to pass, then step on it, do not linger around. You should have at last 10mph speed difference to finish it in a timely manner.
The person in the car was thinking "I don't want to follow that damn truck " but they don't realize that trying to do something stupid has consequences for more than just them
And that car was thinking that truck will slow down so I can pass, not. I see it a lot on cars entering the expressway, they don’t accelerate to merge at highway speed.
my greatest pet peeve. be it in my freightliner, or my dodge. I dont even get over for them anymore. If they cannot figure it out, maybe they should not be on the hwy/interstate at all. Same for the ones who get all the way into the lane, and then finally take off, after slowing ya down.
@@nathan00campbell I'm torn on the issue. I'd hate for a family to get into a wreck if i could prevent it by moving over. I totally get it though. Some days i'm just like tough shit, if they can't get over then they can kiss the median.
@@VchaosTheoryV one of two things, speed up and get into traffic, or dong get on the hwy/interstate. Traffic is not supposed to yield to the on ramp. Worst part is, most are going to speed up well over my travel speed once on the hwy, so why not just speed up before you are in peoples way. Those morons are 100% the cause of traffic jams. Just like the dumbasses who stop on a interstate in one of the left hand lanes to wait for an opening to exit to the right.
Where I live not moving over can get you a ticket or jail. That's because the merging traffic has the right away since you can see them first and have more time to move over or slow down or speed up around them according to the law here. There is some people that indeed merge too slow and I agree on that, in other hand keeping in mind that the ramps can be too short to viably speed up fast enough for some cars & also... not all cars accelerate at the same rate either. Some cars are slow as heck and some are hella fast! I personally prefer to do all of the above to prevent a collision no matter what the merging car is doing. Why? Because it can kill or injure somebody(including me) at the end of the day if I don't. If someone merging slow got into a wreck with you and as a result it makes you plow into some other poor souls on the other lanes of the road & you moving over could of prevented it? How would they feel about that? How would you feel if someone didn't do that and could of saved one of your loved ones from certain death or injury? I think about that when I see those slow merging cars & move my pride out of the way.
@@nathan00campbell Gotta think about the outcome of all that, is it worth the possibility of an accident or killing someone across another lane or injuring yourself & your vehicle because of those two seconds that you were trying to save? Knowing you could of moved over to avoid something but didn't do so? Yes... the slow cars can be an inconvenience, but at the same time it's playing with people's lives by making the problem possibly worse with those types of decisions. I'd rather be slowed down two seconds or change lanes and avoid a big mess that can land me in jail even because in my state not moving over or slowing down/speeding up for merging traffic is a punishable offense & merging cars actually have the right of away legally in my state. I don't know the laws of where you live, but I'd do the same no matter where I'm at if it means avoiding injury or something worse.

I watch that big dig from start to finish What a site You should have came through when they had the temporary platform roads Elevated before they did the dig
Had a truck driver overtake me when he/she was merging into "my lane" a 70 mph. I was @ 70mph also, and we're door to door/ neck to neck. Barely saw the truck. Only reason that person succeeded was because I slammed the brakes, hard. This happened today 11/12/21 in Georgia. Go figure.
3:40 When you was talking about the Big dig. NY is thinking about doing the same thing with the BQE heading to the LIE for trucks. They are trying to cut down trucks driving on the BQQE because the highways condition and more weight of trucks passing through. I'm not sure, they are thinking about it and boy its going to cost a lot of money to do that project and many years
Sad fact about the Big Dig: A motorist was killed by a huge concrete panel that fell from the ceiling of one of the tunnels. Turned out to be due to the epoxy used to hold up concrete panels in a huge section of that tunnel failing.
It looked like they were at least paying attention to hazards up ahead. I can imagine the construction workers reaction, if they'd discovered another crashed car: "Another one?" "Yep, that's the 5th one this week!" :D
Comments here v-v-v-v-v 1. That double stack freeway is just freakin' scary 2. That motorcycle that went by you at night was really cool (before the white car tryin' ta pass you, lol)
That double stack was built but they wouldn"t open it because they thought there would be massive traffic jams at the merge with ! south until a Canadien dirt hauler trucker north on US 1 couldn't make it through the tight S curve and took out an upright collapsing the south bound side. His truck was holding up the road. They closed US 1 and opened the extension of 93. He died in his cab and had to leave him there until they could shore everything up and get to him about a week.

Is there any way to lessen night time blurring videos of these great recordings? Image stabilization, soft mounts to absorb vibration from creating blurry videos? In cab video is free of blurring. The two video cams outside are blurry at night. Perhaps the video cams are limited at night at speed when they're perfectly fine in daylight recording blur free.
If it's low light the electronic stability doesn't work as well. Crazy to think the best low light camera I have is my phone. But I'm not taping that to the back of the truck...😂🤣😅
Typical bonehead 4 wheeler move. As a former CMV driver I know what a truck and or motorcoach can and can not do. One early morning I was driving a 55 passenger MCI D-4505 in to DC merging in to DC 295. As I am slowly creeping at the merge all of a sudden I see a woman in the door glass. She was also in my blind spot. She is trying to squeeze by me. I looked down and she was reading a bible. I asked the passenger on the right side to keep an eye on the car on me side. I then hit my air horn. I guess I woke her up. The look on her face was priceless.

Just another day in paradise! In all fairness, you are supposed to lower your speed when going through a traffic accident zone. Usually by 20 mph or kmh especially when it’s is one lane over. Got to keep everyone safe on the road. I see people passing accidents with police and tow trucks cleaning up the scene passing at highway speeds and some even at higher speeds. That is very dangerous. It doesn’t take much for some one to get seriously hurt or killed like that. Let’s all work together.

Go figure.
Stay rolling stay safe, bless
You couldn't pay me enough money to eat at Burger King!!!
3:40 When you was talking about the Big dig. NY is thinking about doing the same thing with the BQE heading to the LIE for trucks. They are trying to cut down trucks driving on the BQQE because the highways condition and more weight of trucks passing through. I'm not sure, they are thinking about it and boy its going to cost a lot of money to do that project and many years
I hauled long steel beems to that big dig when they were building it
Sad fact about the Big Dig: A motorist was killed by a huge concrete panel that fell from the ceiling of one of the tunnels. Turned out to be due to the epoxy used to hold up concrete panels in a huge section of that tunnel failing.
I like this cameras all around
Ashmont Welding, cool!
Had a run in Boston it sucked lol but once you got out west on 93 it was awesome
It looked like they were at least paying attention to hazards up ahead. I can imagine the construction workers reaction, if they'd discovered another crashed car: "Another one?" "Yep, that's the 5th one this week!" :D
Nice video beautiful city lights at night cool ride thru the tunnel 👍
Comments here v-v-v-v-v
1. That double stack freeway is just freakin' scary
Dam i been through that tunnel so many times i hated it. My wife would be like get me the bleep outta here. She hates tunnel's so bad cause of a bad experience.
The "Internet Generation "...When the Internet was invented, people replaced their brains with a Computer ICU...But...Instead of "Smart Robots", we now have "Dumb Robots"....Like they used to say..." A Mind Is A Terrible Thang To Waste "...
Truck looking good , Nice video , The idiot had to Race you right to the end of the construction zone then loss where there was at ,
be safe take care of yourself Steve
What shame they hadn't placed a patrol where the two lanes get closed off... I'll bet they could pick out a couple of those who are to impatient
11:16 for those that are looking. As a someone that has a CDL and drives for work. (Crane operator local 12 in SoCal) i have to say i am never impressed with truckers that push their right of way. It may just be me. As much as i would love to run idiots off the road or into barriers. At the end of the day it’s my responsibility to drive safely. And that means predicting idiots and their actions. I see them coming from miles lol. I always maintain my legal right of way but yield to those that either are too dumb or too aggressive. I would hate to live with a major injury or fatality on my conscience because i was right.
Thanks for being cautious and thoughtful of others on the road even if they are undeserving. Also you're a hero for posting the timecode.
Im a piece of shit cause I say fuck 'em. Dash cam will show people being idiots. Especially break checkers. Fuck them especially
@@mufasta8322 ha ha how long you been driving?
@@ryanburbridge Only 4 or 5 yrs, but u cant _always_ see idiots coming. And the biggest truck Ive ever driven was a 7 ton so I cant particularly relate, but i see all of these videos of 18 wheelers getting into serious accidents because they swerved to avoid a brake checking asshole. (Just before I watched this one) They should have stayed their course and rear ended the vehicle if evasive maneuvers are potentially worse. I say Let the Dash cam do the talking idk......
@@mufasta8322 your absolutely right! You can’t see those acts of aggression. That’s why a good practice is to always be in the right of way.
You running a box truck? I am no truck driver by any means. I drive a truck trailer combo with counter weight or cranes. We drive but we aren’t truckers
no tail lights
Welcome to Boston
Wow, there's barely enough clearance for trucks in those tunnels. Was half expecting your stacks to hit one of those signs hanging from the ceiling.
Its not bad... the tunnel for 1a is a lot tighter 13'4 i think
This is just Amarillo traffic on every day that ends in y. 'Oh you're signaling, your lane is running out and I'm 4 car lengths behind you? I'd better pass you at the last possible second and force you into the margin.
These videos should be mandatory for driver training
Rational Brain: You know, the maximum speed in the construction zone is probably lower than the speed limit so I'm going to have to slow down regardless if I'm behind this truck or the car in front of it. I hate rules!
GrUg bRaiN: ME NOT WANT TO BE BEHIND BIG SLOW TRUCK GRAH! STUPID RULES!
Need for Trucking!!
Did gas just go up 10c a gallon while at a light..........
Once seen a person who was trying to out run a truck and didn't make it clear case of the stupid
So how is the Truck shop coming along? Hardly anything is posted there. No Detroit video's either.
I will say one thing driving in that tunnel oh boy that smokestack is definitely tall
I think I seen this cab over passing through Weymouth not too long ago very neat, you just came across my suggested lists, do you go to any truck shows?
One of my biggest complaints, people who drive with their brains disengaged.
What time did you go through this area? I hope I don't have to go to the east coast anytime soon. Great footage from the trailer, well done.
The kind of bump where if your seat is too high, you break your neck. If it's too low you break your tail bone.
Is that still mechanical injection or updated newer engine
Enjoyed the video chap.. excellent
Back when if you got a cat engine truck had caterpillar gauges and hour meter in the dash stuff isn't cool anymore like the old stuff
Love the show man when you gonna fix them dash lights 👍
All those cameras can really get you out of any issues those 4 wheelers can make for you
That's how accidents happen
Poetic
Maybe the same thing I am. Why is there an h in were?
Are you following another semi close or you got something that's giving you that great view from behind?
No wide shoulders on any roads in MA to take break
I bet they started screaming and crying how it's not fair and how big trucks offend them ....
Most cars need to learn howe to drive around trucks
This happens all the time, I literally will ride the center lane to block someone if there that dumb
Don't drive through MA with its terrible roads 🤣
The North end has some great places to eat for sure.
I'm convinced that some people suffer from terminal stupidity. A lot of them, actually!
The look on her face was priceless.
your followers say please consider doing a livestream of your deliveries( at least once a week.) As far as they are concerned if you choose NOT to have a chat with a Orwell activity chat that is ok.🙂I emphasize in big letters.i'm not yelling
I'll host you in Boston anytime!
What up Steve
How do you keep the camera steady sir?
That’s where I live local 7 Ironworkers Boston ma
11:42 don't just pace Orwell. indecisive or oblivious? This type of driver should have got a ride home from the bar.
You taught his/her b ass a lesson lol 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Just another day in paradise!
In all fairness, you are supposed to lower your speed when going through a traffic accident zone. Usually by 20 mph or kmh especially when it’s is one lane over.
Got to keep everyone safe on the road.
I see people passing accidents with police and tow trucks cleaning up the scene passing at highway speeds and some even at higher speeds.
That is very dangerous. It doesn’t take much for some one to get seriously hurt or killed like that.
Let’s all work together.
I’ve never understood the self entitlement and number of illiterate 4 wheelers. Lane closures are posted well in advance and they still try to get by. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I’ve put my share into the barrels and cones. Keep the shiny side up and keep it between the ditches
Wtf😂
if you eat that for breakfast in surprised you doing stay on the can all the time.
god video
Ehh I don't push it. Take my time it ain't worth getting tangled up with 4wheeler
I had heavy anxiety at 4:54 because I didn't know if the stacks were gonna hit the ceiling
