Did the same trip back in October 2023 with my son but in reverse. I was retracing my original train journey over 40 years ago on the iconic Silver City Comet from Broken Hill to Orange - back then there were more stops & a more frequent service. Got to see the Comet at the Railway Museum at Broken Hill - our first A/C train introduced back in the late 1930's. Thank you for sharing - it is a classic train journey - not sure how you were able to recharge your phone/camera batteries but very appreciated of your great upload.
Wow can't believe you done a whole trip from Sydney to Broken Hill by train and always wondered what the stations looked like out west. Amazing video and hope you had a good trip! :)
