    Additional Info :
•European Spec (U.S. spec is restricted to 205hp for both the S and M).
•For the S RR, Light White color is exclusive to the M Package.
•For the S RR, if you choose the optional M carbon wheel, it will come with a 200mm tire instead of the standard 190mm tire.
•For the M RR, Blackstorm color is exclusive to the M Competition Package.

Ah man. You dropped the ball on your research. The 2023 S1000RR as you featured in this video has the M1000RR heads, airbox and full titanium exausts. Also you can get the other packages without the S1000RR M package, wich does come with carbon wheels. The forged aluminum set comes standard with a 200 rear tire. One more detail about the differences are the M has an underslung rear caliper. So basically in 2023 the difference is Conrods and body work.

Even though the M is hard to get, it's literally not worth the 30k. Though it is a nice bike, it is way more bulky than the S1k. And for 30, 90% of the time you wont be pushing it to its full potential to get your 30k worth. Just like people who own ninja H2s almost never see its full potential. Its more of a status symbol

    • @savagememes873

well people who buy them are the people that do push them 90% of the time. you are either a collector and let it gather dust in your collector or you are a crazy person that goes full send 24/7. no normal person is gonna buy it.

I own one and I get what you are saying but I don’t regret it. I’m not rich I saved my army money for four years and got one. I’m sure I would have been happy with the s1k but I happened to find an m in Seattle and I’m immature and I bought it lol

If you're loaded, you can't go wrong with the M RR, but if you're budget-conscious and not racing professionally, the SRR is the way to go. 😄

  • @kugangles9860
    @kugangles9860 11 місяців тому +12

Well if you add up the price of all the upgraded parts on the M version vs the normal RR it's actually a lot more than the M series asking price. Now does anyone need carbon wheels, carbon body work, Akra exhaust, race tune, M series brakes/rearsets, etc for the street? Probably not. If you can afford to buy either it makes more sense to by the M. It will also retain it's resale value more than the RR.

Basically you paying double the price for a "slightly" increased compression ratio wich equals like 4 more hp or w.e. a "slightly" bigger back tire and about 10 lbs or w.e lighter.. what a RIP off!!

Forgot to mention that the 2023+ S model shares the same cylinder head and airbox as the M. Many aspects of the 2020-2022 M1000RR have been transferred onto the 2023+ S1000RR.
Same idea of the original hp4's tech being transfered onto the 2015+ S1000RR.

The s1000rr with the carbon wheels and M package come in at little over $31k with tax license and registration, while the M tops at $43k, this in San Diego, ca. I love my S1000RR, I will never be able to unleash all its power, much less the M. They are both hard to get, the dealer rarely have them for more than a week, I waited for one for months, especially with the carbon wheels.

The base price on the S1K does not have any of the goodies you really want, like the electronic suspension, carbon wheels, M rear sets, and the motor of mine revs to 14.5 k. the M revs to 15.250 rpm. I just installed the Arrow headers, Rizoma brake fluid reservoir and the Puig frame sliders(they are actually really good looking). I may add something else later, but for now my bike is good.

@@w0nd3r6 Because it is useless if it doesn't serve it's purpose. Heavy steel frames are replaced with carbon fiber for supercars. Carbon fairings on a motorcycle do nothing, because they are not reducing any weight by replacing already low weight plastic fairings.

The R1 from yamaha is the fastest on track... it has the record time on Nurnburging and it has the best acceleration until 150mph and has the best handling so its the best in corner and out od the corner. Also the crossplane crankshaft offers the most linear torque and best sound imo
