This crystal pendant is made with very basic knots and a bit of string- it's super simple!
I used embroidery floss and waxed it with a beeswax candle- that's optional and you don't have to wax it if you don't want to, but it makes it a bit more sturdy.
You can also use hemp cord, cotton cord, or pre-waxed thread. You'll just want the cord to be about the same size as 6 strand embroidery floss.
    SUPPLIES YOU'LL NEED //
▶︎ 6 strand embroidery floss (I used DMC) in your preferred color- I used ECRU in the video: shrsl.com/32h9s
    4 pieces @ 48" long (121 cm)
▶︎ beeswax to wax the thread (optional, I used a candle I had laying around): amzn.to/3xuaFKz
▶︎ wooden bead with a large hole (mine was about 5/8" long): amzn.to/3vjxIoR
▶︎ large eye needle that will fit through the bead: amzn.to/3uIGSfF
    ▶︎ scissors: amzn.to/38St75A
▶︎ tape, clipboard or cork board and T-pins to hold the necklace while you braid: amzn.to/3uGOTl1
    ▶︎ measuring tape
    ▶︎ assorted crystals! tidd.ly/3AQ8gJE

Thank you ❤ I’m young and can’t buy an expensive gift for my father on he’s birthday but I have some crystals and materials to create this. So I’ve never done anything like this before but the way you taught made it easier to accomplish making it. ❤🙌

You made an excellent, easy to follow video. I tried watching 2 other creators videos on this type of necklace and gave up yesterday because I kept getting confused on the second set of knots. Today, this video randomly showed up on my home page so I decided to give a look... the way you laid out the strings after each step cleared up any questions I had about what to do next so thank you very much. I liked and now subscribing.👌😊💚

This is adorable, and so well made! I’ve never done macrame before (more of a crochet person tbh), but this is so clearly explained that I’m confident that I could make one. I’m excited to try this out with some crystal collecting friends!

I practically never start a tutorial without watching it first and for some reason I was following along as the video played (pausing to work the steps) and it’s perfect! My daughter has been after me to make her something for all the crystals and gems she wants to wear and this came out perfect! Thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial. Very easy to follow 😊

I wanted to craft something special as a gift for someone, by trying to include a rock I picked up somewhere we went and enjoyed a lot, and it was surprisingly simple to do ! Not "easy" because it was definitely a bit of a struggle at first, but after I got it I went with the flow and here I am with my little macrame necklace ready to be given 😎
    Thanks for the tutorial !

I use thicker hemp for mine because i use much larger stones but waxing and dyeing my own hemp is the fun part of the process! Definitely wax your own!
I made one with an 80 Dollar flourite stone this way. Added feather and cordage wraps. I wanted to sell for $120 but its wayyy to beautiful lol
    Youre really good at this.

Plus wire wrapping is sooo much more difficult. It's hard to make a wrap like this with rope look ugly (yet I still managed to make it look ugly) but with wire, it's so easy. Any misalignment with wire is so obvious.
