This is a simple, yet pretty way to wrap any stone you'd like. It is a good technique for tumbled stones, or stones with an odd shape. Good luck, friends!
You guys are all totally right, that bad boy is a snowflake obsidian and not a dalmatian jasper.

I wrapped a couple of my stones and wore them to work ( the bloodstone was a hit and I was CONSTANTLY getting compliments on it) and a lady wanted me to wrap a stone for her. I agreed reluctantly but only because my stones I wrapped fell out! 😂 So I'm watching this to make sure they don't do that

You made it look easy and I'm about to try but I know 8" and those strands are longer than that. I'll start with 10" with the understanding that I'll have waste. That's always acceptable the first time and then no more. Thanks for sharing this incredible art. I began mining this year. I had time due to coronavirus and you always have plenty of social distancing while mining. I have amethysts and multiple varieties of quartz crystal with about 100 that finally completed the fourth stage of tumbling. Tonight's experimentation night. Thank you.
