Just took a ride on the one that runs between Excalibur, Luxor and Mandalay Bay. Only one was operational at the time (the express was broken). Saved me a good bit of time getting to Luxor from the NY NY.
Thank you for this informative video! The map and the visuals of the stations and ride are great, and of course your narration is terrific. Now I know what to expect and how to use the tram system when I visit.
It would be nice if there were a way to connect all three trams to each other. I just went to Vegas for a week three days ago and it's a bit of a hassle to walk through one hotel/casino to transfer from one tram system to another.
Completely agree. The other side of the strip has the monorail that runs from MGM to the Sahara. The stations are in the back of the hotel though. The monorail is fee based as well.
I’m heading there in 2 days and was just watching this video thinking about how I like the fact it’s a bit of a ride and walking looking forward to checking this out on my trip thanks for the video 🤙
did you time it at all? About how long to go from Vdara/ Bellagio to Park MGM and then how long to walk thru Park MGM to get to NY NY and them across the bridge to get to Excalibur? I have ridden the Excalibur to Mandalay Bay Tram and know about how long that trip takes but not the walking/ transfer times. If you have a ballpark, I would appreciate it. Thanks for the video.
@@ExploreVegas Hey! Just got back from Vegas. Stayed @ Vdara and had a conference @ Mandalay Bay Convention Center for 4 days. Rode the tram from Bellagio/ Vdara to Park MGM, walked about 5 minutes in Park MGM to get outside- hang a right just past the Lady Gaga shop and crossed the street to NYNY- walked thru the "park" in front of the casino for about 5 minutes and up the escalator to the walkway to Excalibur where I jumped on the express to Mandalay Bay.-- Took about 40 minutes- Not bad! and with the trip to and back, about 13000 steps! The tram goes really slowly from Vdara to Crystals, and on to Park MGM. The trip took about 10 minutes. The tram came every 7 minutes or so. The tram from Excalibur to Mandalay Bay goes FAST! took about 2 minutes. Hope this helps someone who may be wondering about the timing. :-)
@@snosister thank you for coming back to the channel to share your experience. I’m glad you were able to take advantage of the free trams and it was decent overall.
Not close by. The closest would be at Convention Center a few blocks away. I’d recommend the Deuce bus if you are wanting public transportation. The Deuce runs right in front of the hotel.
I was surprised they kept it running after selling TI. This one isn't very useful anyway because it is usually faster to walk than to wait for the next one.

I love the free trams. Save your $ for something else!

they are built by hotels, not by city
That’s the price you pay for free trams…walking thru the casino and spending some coinage;)
Does one of the trams drop you off at Circus Circus bc from there we want to Uber downtown.

We didn’t time it, but it would be at least an hour.

would the trams from Delano get you close to Cesar Palace or the main part of the strip?
If you use the first 2 trams, they will get you to the Bellagio which is center strip.
Is there a tram close to Conrad at resorts world?
Not close by. The closest would be at Convention Center a few blocks away. I’d recommend the Deuce bus if you are wanting public transportation. The Deuce runs right in front of the hotel.
@@ExploreVegas thank you.
See if they keep the Mirage/TI tram once the Mirage closes and becomes Planet Hollywood. Or a redesigning of the cars at least.
I hope they keep it. Thank you for watching!

Incredible state of the art architecture
Nice little free bonus that’s still in Vegas. Thank you for watching!
Is the route to Come back to Madala Bay also has same three free trams? Is it a direct ride ?
Same trams and stops on the way back. The only option is a tram from the Excalibur that skips the Luxor.
Do they run 24/7?
They run late, but not 24/7.
From Mandalay to Excalibur
Sun to Wed 9AM - 12:30AM
Thu to Sat 9AM - 2:30AM
Thank you.

What can i take from the strat to get the main places on the strip?
Your best bet would be to walk to the Sahara and catch the monorail. There is also a free shuttle from the Strat to Fremont Street.
@@ExploreVegas that's awesome! Is the monorail free?
Intresting enough, Vegas is pretty much the only city in North America with Platform Screen Doors for all their public transport
🤦♂️
@@ExploreVegas was that a facepalm for vegas or facepalm for the rest of North America?
Thabk you!!
Thank you for watching!
Where should i hop to get to planet Hollywood
If using the 3 free trams, get off at the Bellagio. Planet Hollywood is across the street.
Is Luxor station at 0:57 on the left of the view
Yes. 🙂
@@ExploreVegascan you show more about Luxor station as it is really hard to see
Been to Vegas at least 100 times I knew about the Mandalay bay tram not the other two.
The second one comes in handy.
How come I see on the website there is a fee?
There are no fees for the free trams in this video. The monorail across the street is fee based.
