Her ult is so much better than people make it out to be. Yes she is vulnerable and people are so fucking dramatic about that. If you can account for the vulnerability by hiding the first portion it's very good. i've gotten multiple many 4+ kills using it

Logan’s shout should grant him a strong regen heal while it’s active and his leap needs a better hit box. Just those fixes would be enough to make him playable.

No I'd add more. Either lower the cooldown of his leap or make it so when you kill someone the cooldown on his leap refreshes. Also give him the ability to climb walls. Its not just Spidey or Venom. Peni, Hulk, Rocket, Black Panther can do it. Wolverine does it plenty of times in comics, games and movies. Let him have more mobility. @mangasaint

I even saw how he chased our witch at our spawn. He just used his air jumps and wall run to stay at the same height. And one time he just used regen at the top of some stone and then tried again to get her. I saw it when I was curious why we were 5 and not 6
The single most viscerally satisfying thing ive done as loki is ult on ironfist when he's trying to jump me, and then use his ult on him and let him get a taste o' some sweet *sweet* karma 😂
Dude is a monster in the right hands. Most of the time I see people playing him with zero idea on how he even works. Then you get that one guy that make you feel like he personally coded iron fist into the game.
and even then the dude would get hate by his random teamates for having the least dmg while ignoring the fact he consistently took our enemy healers or in some fights entire team.
Let’s also not forget that he can run on walls, dash towards you infinitely (meaning he can fly) and run away the moment he gets hit to full heal by himself and get back in the fight, and he can parry multiple people, not just the 1v1. If you have squirrel girl and spidey though, squirrel girl can throw traps on the ground he can’t get out of and she can throw a walnut that pins him down as well. It’s a direct counter cuz he can’t break out of it.
He cannot dash towards you infinitely, that would make him to broken! However! He can float in the air with his basic attack, and when you are close to an enemy, the basic attack will lunge you at the enemy if its close enough, so you can stay in the air as long as you landing you're attacks. THAT part is ridiculous. Iron Man be a sitting duck 😅😂
Stuff Iron Fist can do: Heal. Wall run. Autotracking primary. (that can chase flying characters by the way) Parry. 3/4 jumps. An ultimate that increases attack speed and damage by a large margin. A kick ability that does good damage and has a lot of movement. And has a passive that Wolverine should have. Yeah I don't know why they hate him.
@@Esteban-nk3nm Yeah but cc counters every hero. I come from playing mobas and ppl say that "oh cc counters zeri and ambessa" like no fucking shit thats what its supposed to do. But despite that as long as theyre able to dodge or avoid that instance of cc(really easy), they roll over you. Ironfist just has to dodge the cc. Then what else is there to stop him from murdering your entire backline? He could just wait for the luna snow to or mantis to use their cc and then dive them. Saying cc counters something is like saying water is wet.
I got one where I landed it six times in a row. Felt like Pac-Man just eating them ghosts one by one. You can trigger it off Wolverine and Hulk twice each. But it's an ultimate you should handle by getting under something just like against Hela. And by not grouping up so he doesn't damage everyone around the person he kills to weaken them for more kills.
The real reason is because he's a pub stomper. If the enemy team is all a bunch of randoms, he just gets to freely kill the backline because odds are no one is communicating. But if the enemy team healers are partied with ANY tank on that team, Iron Fist just crumples.
If there not being distracted by the other dps and there aren't any healers there to feed Iron Fist health, sure buddy, but doesn't the fact that they all need to work together just to get rid of one guy emphasize how much of a threat he is? No duh Hela seems mid AF if you have people focus her, doesn't stop her from consistently topping a tier on everyone's tier list. If you leave most of these heroes to their own devices they can be threats.

If you entire team of backline shooters you're not gonna get kill you need your team to distract enemy tanks and dps so you can jump on their healer and dps. Secondly no matter how many fights you won your team at the end of the game everyone's gonna tell you how bad you are for having least dmg while ignoring the fact they literally dmg farmed enemy tanks who kept getting healed right in front of them. Taking out Star Lord, Iron Man or Jeff is easiest thing to do but if you don't have capable tea, you're toast. ofcourse casual games as og comment said are like easiest to get kills but in ranked running iron fist solo is extreme cancer.
Nah I hate his target lock and that it’s practically impossible to run away from him, even if you are a flyer. The fact he gets pulled towards you as long as he’s holding down his primary is ridiculous
He has has like the 2nd or 3rd best attack range due to his lock on then his rapid punches gives him the best attack range beating out magik who has a big blade😢
And then the game has Wolverine who doesn’t lock on to targets, can only be healed once if he has rage to make it substantial, and has a long cooldown for his only good movement option as his 3 second dash barely moves him. Rage should give him the same homing Iron Fist has at least horizontally since so many long range characters have get off me tools or stuns that other melee characters can deal with through quick combos like Spider-Man or good long dashes like Magik and Black Panther. His big leap also needs a bigger hit box you and an arc you can use to aim it like Hulk has for his leap or for when he throws Wolverine. You can sneak right behind someone and leap and he’ll just jump over them and leave them behind so that he can waste his time turning around and following them as they move away.
I think that's my main issue. A parry is fine as long as it's obvious. I'm going to sin and compare overwatch to this game like everyone does but anyways. Genji's parry doesn't give him shield, so once you see that he's in parry you can just wait until it's over, but Iron Fist benefits from the first hit you get even if you stop attacking him after. It should be very obvious like a giant green shield image appears in front of him. And I'm not sure the full second of block is great either, it should be shorter, and truly used like an actual PARRY where the point is to press it at the right time to get a bonus, not press it and wait for someone to hit you.

The difference though is that BP can actually wipe a team or force a bunch of CDs as well while wolverine WISHES he could do that. But unlike IF, BP actually takes skill to do that

As an iron man main I fear for my life when I see iron fist FLYING towards me and then catching up to me when I try running away. This character should not be able to just casually fly by kicking.
Warlock is one of the few characters who has absolutely nothing he can do when Iron Fist jumps him. Unless you have a charged shot ready and you land all of them as headshots, you're pretty much fucked without ally support.
All of that isnt a problem necessarily. Its the target lock and lunge that pisses people off. If they reduced the lunge range, and gave him a spin kick reset on kill that would be fine imo
@@boblobster5126 every melee character has some sort of gap closer (dash/lunge), and they need to. The problem with Iron Fist is his target lock. Can't juke him by moving around. However, he can be dealt with if your team is not brain dead.

The higher you go into the ranks the less likely it is to see him and if you do it's most likely an Iron Fist with good game knowledge, map awareness, match-up awareness, which at that point props to them for committing to actually learning him well, or they're who's gonna swap after first death.
@@theaverageplayer1656 I would say that players would rather switch to Spider-Man, because the only thing in which he is inferior to IF is the lack of a healer. In mobility, damage, initiation and escape, he outplays him everywhere. Okay, he can't block ultimates, but he can stop many of them from being cast with one button.
I deal with him pretty easily as Peni Parker usually end up making them run away. People don't really talk about how broken she is as she can fire her primary infinitely, self heal, can recover from Jeff attempting to throw her off the edge, I stay getting MVP with her and even when the team loses I'm the SVP.
As an Iron Fist main, Peni is the most annoying person to play against. She covers so much of the map with stuff and the bugs and traps will kill him instantly if they’re placed well. I’ve gotten better at parrying the bugs first to get full shield though. I can clear them out first for others and they get me to 400hp for free. Cant parry any attacks after that though so you have to play safe
The thing that makes Peni dumb is having a 3 second cooldown stun, makes running dive heroes into her (especially with well set up mines) borderline impossible.
I also main penny and she is not as broken as you think, yeah she is strong on defense but thats about it, any ranged character can destroy peni if they are aware enough of her mines, melee characters struggle the most for sure but the only thing that makes her seem broken is that everyone runs at her one by one, hell that is also the reason why iron fist looks broken yet he falls apart the moment he gets on a 1v2
Storm is just terrible but if you’re Ironman, just shoot him back - he’s basically floating still in front of you when he punches and does 32 damage per punch but you can 3 shot him. If he blocks, he won’t be able to keep floating and you can run away from him unless he uses all his cds to get to you, meaning your teammates can kill him.
Fun fact if iron fist is hit by Magnito's right click he can immediately melee and get back on Magnito. No other character can act out of full charged Magnito right click.
Well it does instantly kill everyone in the area, that's pretty strong. But that's why it has such counter play. So it really needs to be comboed into, like using Strange portal or Storm speed boost + Hulk shield.
Unless you are cc'd you can just shoot a slow floating target or press the s and walk away. I could see it getting combed pretty well with like Widows Ult slow thats also bad but never see either of them played anymore in rank. He's basically everything hated about Genji, but, scaled up. He's quick/slippery enough to kill everything, tanky due to a stupid counter that was meant for projectiles/hitscan, does plenty too much damage. Then on top of that, he gets health regen, 3 jumps, either lock on or EXTREME aim assist. Meanwhile Wolvie over here. Can barely bruise even a tank (which he is mean to fight) has no self-heals, has a seemingly shorter range, less than a quarter of the mobility, and damage reduction that does nothing for him, because he's just so goddamned slow.
"Health regen" he cant use it in team fights or he dies Also, Wolverines much better than iron fist, if you play him like iron fist, you arent playing wolverine, you are playing the wrong character, he isnt a dive or flanker, he is a momentum swing character, he is supposed to build berserker rage, run in, kidnap a tank, and get a free point for his team to swing the advantage in his teams favor
Iron fist despite having a broken kit on paper can absolutely be countered by most tanks in the game and anyone good with a ranged character like Hawkeye or healers like mantis and luna snow with sedation or freezing especially In higher ranked lobbies he becomes way less viable however he's the poster child for pub stomping in this game
People hate Iron Fist because he's a scrub stomper. High Competitive play finds him to be quite useless and predictable. SoloQ at low levels of play, Iron Fist can be compared to the likes of Garen in LoL. He's seems broken, but once you progress in skill level, you'll find that he's really not all that great.

People hate Iron Fist because he’s an all-rounder melee character that can just do too much. His sustain is stupid good, his mobility and chasing allows him to catch flying characters no problem which makes no sense, he can out dps basically all tanks point blank which is crazy as well. At least with some other characters when they have something broken, it’s like 1 single thing such as Jeff with his ult. Iron Fist technically doesn’t have one single thing that’s broken to that degree but he has all of these things nearly at that level which makes him an effective one man army that just wins teamfights. They need to tone him down in some aspect if they’re gonna make him a jack of all trades kinda character. At least, this is the way I see it.
Normally I would say you would be right, however, I play in console lobbies where it’s safe to say people kinda suck at aiming (myself included) meaning auto lock-on is pretty damn good despite the lesser dps. For me, it’s entirely his lock-on that makes him so good where I play because let’s be honest, there’s no way he should be able to keep up with a full speed iron man flying. As for who I play? Literally whoever I feel like. Vanguard, duelist, strategist, I don’t care. If I’m in the mood, I’ll play em. Iron Fist is mostly difficult for the simple fact that I (and usually the rest of my team) don’t have the aim nor skill to actually kill him before he’s either snowballing or taking down a few of us with him unless my entire team just jump him. But my point kinda still stands, he makes Wolverine basically useless by comparison (especially since they screwed him with his kit). Anyways, characters like him will always end up being an issue for me to deal with cuz I don’t have the time to “git gud” at the game and counter him. I’ll manage, he’s not that big of an issue at the end of the day since whilst people in my lobbies suck at fighting against him, others generally suck at playing him.
@heimlich5026 if you play Mantis, just wait out block and sleep the ground you can't miss. Namour, the turret will kill him and just turn invincible if you're about to die. Magneto just push him back and immediately bubble yourself he should leave, or he will die.
@@heimlich5026peni also disintegrates iron fist without much issue, loki will always survive if you know to always keep a nearby clone for quick escape or i you just stack clones on yourself and press the healing skill, almost every dps can out damage him on a 1v1 (as long as you dont feed his shield), or simply dont be alone, the man just falls over on a 1v2 so you can just be physically butt-hugging anyone in your team and as long as you can hit half your shots you should be able to fold him with very little issue
Idk I only like Magik and she sounds op until you actually play her. I still get plenty of kills no problem but she is definitely not "op" lol. Not "everyone" is op. Just so many are that people act like everyone is op.
idk man this guy in the video is the worst in the game but since people don't understand your healers can outheal his damage everyone is crying about him. if he targets your healers they most likely have some type of stun effect and even if they don't back them up hems useless
Better Ults and Thor? Did not expect to see that one. His ult is buns, super slow and very underwhelming damage only way you can get kills is if the enemy is low or if they’re a squishy taking tick damage from standing in the circle THEN getting slammed. It definitely needs some work
@LuckyShots Thor ult even when used correctly does not kill anyone. Its supposed to be used to force enemy Luna or Mantis to pop their defensive ults. Its so your teams Hela can pop her ultimate and get multiple people.
@ΚρανίΩ thats cause you use it after they stun you. Its a 15s(mantis) 12s(luna) cooldown and if you have good eyes you can see if they used it because it turns a teammate blue or theres a purple mantis if slept.

Diamond 1 here, I never understood iron fist hate. Pay attention as a team to when he ganks & you will force him to switch. Leave your healers to deal with him alone and it’s not your healers that are throwing it’s YOU.
For what it's worth, when I play healer I end up taking out Iron Fists all the time, they usually get angry that a healer keeps killing them and they spend the whole match trying to redeem themselves. I'm probably just fighting awful Iron Fists, but it happens in a lot of matches. Mostly as Adam Warlock or Loki btw

@@BlueBamboo9no, the Parry very much is a contributor to his strength because he is squishy and doesn't have much mobility aside from chasing into enemies. He isn't healing in the middle of a fight, he'll die. And the shields from his heal don't last all that long. He doesn't have Spider-Man's level of mobility to get him to the back line quickly and out, so he's really got to commit. The Parry lets him do that. He doesn't have much utility, he can't pull a squishy into a corner to kill then from safety like Spider-Man, diving and chasing down squishies is basically all he does. I find him to just be good, not overpowered. A team with situational awareness, one that actually tries to defend their healers, can make it hard for him to do very much.
@aaronpeck9154 he has no kill potential, his empowered punches don’t kill fast enough if you dive a support, and if they have some sort of cc you’re basically screwed if it’s not on cooldown. He’s slippery tanky genji without the kill potential.

The one and only reason I like him is because I'm a Luna main and that team-up extra ability is nice, but he's definitely way too oppressive. Communication is a good weapon against him, just a simple ping if you see him lurking around. He needs less self-sustain
I mean ideally to counter Iron Fist, either stay as a team so ur all grouped up, so he doesn’t attack ur backline or just don’t attack his parry, and he will get destroyed.

The problem is most of the time when you're going in to nuke a backline, you've already used your parry to gain the fast attack sp you don't usually have this up when you need it to negate an ult like that

Dude is a monster in the right hands. Most of the time I see people playing him with zero idea on how he even works. Then you get that one guy that make you feel like he personally coded iron fist into the game.
and even then the dude would get hate by his random teamates for having the least dmg while ignoring the fact he consistently took our enemy healers or in some fights entire team.
Let’s also not forget that he can run on walls, dash towards you infinitely (meaning he can fly) and run away the moment he gets hit to full heal by himself and get back in the fight, and he can parry multiple people, not just the 1v1.
If you have squirrel girl and spidey though, squirrel girl can throw traps on the ground he can’t get out of and she can throw a walnut that pins him down as well. It’s a direct counter cuz he can’t break out of it.

He cannot dash towards you infinitely, that would make him to broken! However! He can float in the air with his basic attack, and when you are close to an enemy, the basic attack will lunge you at the enemy if its close enough, so you can stay in the air as long as you landing you're attacks. THAT part is ridiculous. Iron Man be a sitting duck 😅😂

I got one where I landed it six times in a row.

You can trigger it off Wolverine and Hulk twice each.
But it's an ultimate you should handle by getting under something just like against Hela.

The real reason is because he's a pub stomper. If the enemy team is all a bunch of randoms, he just gets to freely kill the backline because odds are no one is communicating. But if the enemy team healers are partied with ANY tank on that team, Iron Fist just crumples.
If there not being distracted by the other dps and there aren't any healers there to feed Iron Fist health, sure buddy, but doesn't the fact that they all need to work together just to get rid of one guy emphasize how much of a threat he is? No duh Hela seems mid AF if you have people focus her, doesn't stop her from consistently topping a tier on everyone's tier list. If you leave most of these heroes to their own devices they can be threats.

If you entire team of backline shooters you're not gonna get kill you need your team to distract enemy tanks and dps so you can jump on their healer and dps.
Secondly no matter how many fights you won your team at the end of the game everyone's gonna tell you how bad you are for having least dmg while ignoring the fact they literally dmg farmed enemy tanks who kept getting healed right in front of them.
Taking out Star Lord, Iron Man or Jeff is easiest thing to do but if you don't have capable tea, you're toast. ofcourse casual games as og comment said are like easiest to get kills but in ranked running iron fist solo is extreme cancer.

And then the game has Wolverine who doesn’t lock on to targets, can only be healed once if he has rage to make it substantial, and has a long cooldown for his only good movement option as his 3 second dash barely moves him. Rage should give him the same homing Iron Fist has at least horizontally since so many long range characters have get off me tools or stuns that other melee characters can deal with through quick combos like Spider-Man or good long dashes like Magik and Black Panther. His big leap also needs a bigger hit box you and an arc you can use to aim it like Hulk has for his leap or for when he throws Wolverine. You can sneak right behind someone and leap and he’ll just jump over them and leave them behind so that he can waste his time turning around and following them as they move away.

I think that's my main issue. A parry is fine as long as it's obvious. I'm going to sin and compare overwatch to this game like everyone does but anyways. Genji's parry doesn't give him shield, so once you see that he's in parry you can just wait until it's over, but Iron Fist benefits from the first hit you get even if you stop attacking him after. It should be very obvious like a giant green shield image appears in front of him. And I'm not sure the full second of block is great either, it should be shorter, and truly used like an actual PARRY where the point is to press it at the right time to get a bonus, not press it and wait for someone to hit you.

I deal with him pretty easily as Peni Parker usually end up making them run away. People don't really talk about how broken she is as she can fire her primary infinitely, self heal, can recover from Jeff attempting to throw her off the edge, I stay getting MVP with her and even when the team loses I'm the SVP.
As an Iron Fist main, Peni is the most annoying person to play against. She covers so much of the map with stuff and the bugs and traps will kill him instantly if they’re placed well. I’ve gotten better at parrying the bugs first to get full shield though. I can clear them out first for others and they get me to 400hp for free. Cant parry any attacks after that though so you have to play safe
She is pretty busted, Heck for somebody who is in the Mecca suit she's more busted than Iron Man
As an Iron Fist player, I got my first MVP playing as Peni. 😂
The thing that makes Peni dumb is having a 3 second cooldown stun, makes running dive heroes into her (especially with well set up mines) borderline impossible.
I also main penny and she is not as broken as you think, yeah she is strong on defense but thats about it, any ranged character can destroy peni if they are aware enough of her mines, melee characters struggle the most for sure but the only thing that makes her seem broken is that everyone runs at her one by one, hell that is also the reason why iron fist looks broken yet he falls apart the moment he gets on a 1v2

Storm is just terrible but if you’re Ironman, just shoot him back - he’s basically floating still in front of you when he punches and does 32 damage per punch but you can 3 shot him. If he blocks, he won’t be able to keep floating and you can run away from him unless he uses all his cds to get to you, meaning your teammates can kill him.

He's quick/slippery enough to kill everything, tanky due to a stupid counter that was meant for projectiles/hitscan, does plenty too much damage.

Meanwhile Wolvie over here. Can barely bruise even a tank (which he is mean to fight) has no self-heals, has a seemingly shorter range, less than a quarter of the mobility, and damage reduction that does nothing for him, because he's just so goddamned slow.

People hate Iron Fist because he’s an all-rounder melee character that can just do too much. His sustain is stupid good, his mobility and chasing allows him to catch flying characters no problem which makes no sense, he can out dps basically all tanks point blank which is crazy as well. At least with some other characters when they have something broken, it’s like 1 single thing such as Jeff with his ult. Iron Fist technically doesn’t have one single thing that’s broken to that degree but he has all of these things nearly at that level which makes him an effective one man army that just wins teamfights. They need to tone him down in some aspect if they’re gonna make him a jack of all trades kinda character.
At least, this is the way I see it.
This character sucks don't fall for it. In fact, tell me who you play and I'll tell you what to do.
Normally I would say you would be right, however, I play in console lobbies where it’s safe to say people kinda suck at aiming (myself included) meaning auto lock-on is pretty damn good despite the lesser dps. For me, it’s entirely his lock-on that makes him so good where I play because let’s be honest, there’s no way he should be able to keep up with a full speed iron man flying.
As for who I play? Literally whoever I feel like. Vanguard, duelist, strategist, I don’t care. If I’m in the mood, I’ll play em. Iron Fist is mostly difficult for the simple fact that I (and usually the rest of my team) don’t have the aim nor skill to actually kill him before he’s either snowballing or taking down a few of us with him unless my entire team just jump him. But my point kinda still stands, he makes Wolverine basically useless by comparison (especially since they screwed him with his kit).
Anyways, characters like him will always end up being an issue for me to deal with cuz I don’t have the time to “git gud” at the game and counter him. I’ll manage, he’s not that big of an issue at the end of the day since whilst people in my lobbies suck at fighting against him, others generally suck at playing him.

@@heimlich5026peni also disintegrates iron fist without much issue, loki will always survive if you know to always keep a nearby clone for quick escape or i you just stack clones on yourself and press the healing skill, almost every dps can out damage him on a 1v1 (as long as you dont feed his shield), or simply dont be alone, the man just falls over on a 1v2 so you can just be physically butt-hugging anyone in your team and as long as you can hit half your shots you should be able to fold him with very little issue

Diamond 1 here, I never understood iron fist hate. Pay attention as a team to when he ganks & you will force him to switch. Leave your healers to deal with him alone and it’s not your healers that are throwing it’s YOU.
For what it's worth, when I play healer I end up taking out Iron Fists all the time, they usually get angry that a healer keeps killing them and they spend the whole match trying to redeem themselves. I'm probably just fighting awful Iron Fists, but it happens in a lot of matches. Mostly as Adam Warlock or Loki btw
Probably is because most teams you're not going to have this coordination outside of the top players. And when you don't he's an absolute nightmare.

The amount people not mentioning his lock on tells me one of two things, either 1.) they're ignoring it cause they enjoy it and don't want to bring negative attention to it or 2.) they know people hate it and don't mention it in hopes it creates engagement by commenting about it like i am rn. @@BlueBamboo9no, the Parry very much is a contributor to his strength because he is squishy and doesn't have much mobility aside from chasing into enemies.
He isn't healing in the middle of a fight, he'll die. And the shields from his heal don't last all that long.
He doesn't have Spider-Man's level of mobility to get him to the back line quickly and out, so he's really got to commit. The Parry lets him do that.
He doesn't have much utility, he can't pull a squishy into a corner to kill then from safety like Spider-Man, diving and chasing down squishies is basically all he does.
I find him to just be good, not overpowered.
A team with situational awareness, one that actually tries to defend their healers, can make it hard for him to do very much.

@aaronpeck9154 he has no kill potential, his empowered punches don’t kill fast enough if you dive a support, and if they have some sort of cc you’re basically screwed if it’s not on cooldown.
He’s slippery tanky genji without the kill potential.

honestly if he didn't do so much damage I would be fine with him but he absolutely shreds any and all enemies. thankfully he is pretty easily countered by a half competent team.

The one and only reason I like him is because I'm a Luna main and that team-up extra ability is nice, but he's definitely way too oppressive. Communication is a good weapon against him, just a simple ping if you see him lurking around. He needs less self-sustain

@@LuckyShots It's easy to avoid, he gets no bonus health or immortality like storm, he's big and slow so you can hit him and on top of all that he can get stunned out of it.

He’s unplayable in comp period where people are watching each other’s back and communicating. All these people complaining are the ones who play only quick play
The problem is most of the time when you're going in to nuke a backline, you've already used your parry to gain the fast attack sp you don't usually have this up when you need it to negate an ult like that
