1:40 I hate to be that guy... but the first Marvel comic was actually in 1939 with (fittingly) "Marvel Comics #1." It had Namor the Sub-Mariner and the original Human Torch
Fantastic 4 number 1 wasn't actually the first marvel comic, it was just the first comic under the marvel name. The marvel company was known as timely comics and atlas before, making comics decades before fantastic 4 number 1. Great vid tho :D
Fun fact:the maker a skin for mr fantastic comes from the ultimate universe (the same as miles morales)this version of reed is insane and a villain eventually making a new ultimate universe where he prevented heros from getting their powers this eventually led to a middle aged married spoder man and a teenage iron man who will become kang as well as a reed richards who became dr doom, also his head is a triangle
Erm Ackshually the first Marvel comic was in 1939 with the Human Torch, but in terms of Marvels shared universe, it did start and end with the F4 bc of Secret Wars (2015)
That was timely comics. The Fantastic Four were the first Marvel comics. The first comics created through the collaboration of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby who would go on to make Iron Man, Hulk, X-Men etc.
4:09 Notice that you can actually hit more than one person with one punch, by sweeping your mouse over them. You can't hit the same person twice tho. So, a legitimate strategy if you're surrrounded is to punch and spin. 8:25 the First two aren't that big of a deal, since if you biff you can still carry on, but if you whiff the third, the ult will end. 11:35 I give you half points on that one. 9:50 Frankly, Mr Fanstatic in my eyes, is supposed to be a Flex. Since he has a lot of vanguard properties, you could get away with putting him in place of another Vanguard. He could also assist other vanguards in their tanking abilites. Take Peni, she needs time to set up webs and mines to really hold down an area, and Captain america who isn't the tankiest tank but is very mobile. Mr Fanstatic can easily help supplement these Tanks with his abilities to take the shape of a tank when the need arises.
I love how they seem open to making pseudo-vanguards or strategists in this game. You see why they’re duelists, but they offer enough ‘flexibility’ to fill a role without forsaking what you want to play. I’d be very open to more of these
Also, little known thing about his ult: Only the 3rd hit matters in extending it. If you hit the first 2 slams, and miss the 3rd, it'll stop his bounces right there. Conversely, if you miss the first 2 hits, but hit the 3rd, you'll be able to continue bouncing. Just always try to make sure you hit his 3rd slam. Also, his big man form's damage boost affects his ult as well, so the best time to ult is after transforming.
Here's another tip: You can quickly build up his big man meter by giving your teammates shields before/during a fight. Each chest bump gives him about 30 charge for his form. So, 3 chest bumps and like, 2 autos, and you're in big man mode. There's almost no cooldown on giving teammates shields, either. So if you've got 3 around, there you go, you're at 90% charge in a few seconds
I think he's overall in a good spot. As someone who played primarily Vanguard, I honestly cannot justify his label as a duelist. I have done really well playing him as I simply play him as a tank and survive as long as possible, I have seen some people doing terrible on him and dying instantly. I think he will be a really polarizing character. Invisible Woman is probably the more impactful of the two on the game, she is an incredibly strong support.
Just watched Spider-Man homecoming with my girl and it was really cool to point you out on screen as one of my favorite UA-camrs! Keep doing your thing homie love your vids forever.
two things i can say. If you use your ult during "big boy" moment, you keep the shields from it, meaning your not as fragile. ALSO it slows dont targets. Idk the numbers but itis mentioned.
The devs of marvel rivals actually explained that they wanted to go out of the classic tank/dps/support. So that can explain why mister fantastic is kind of a an hybrid between a duellist and a vanguard
After mostly one-tricking hulk to Diamond in S0, Mr. Fantastic is soooo much fun to play giving little shields out. Makes running 1-3-2 a cheat code if one is MF and they know what to do.
I think the Rivals team is smart enough to know that some heroes need to be different things - and having tanky duelists like Wolverine or Mr. Fantastic is a good solution to the problem where each 'role' gets pidgeonholed into doing a predictable thing. Role Q and other things that make each match 'predictable' in the name of balance just kills the fun in any game; Overwatch struggled with this significantly, and look where it got them. They're learning from those mistakes and not making them a second time, and I like that. Like just because someone is a tank doesn't mean they have to play a certain way, and just because you're a duelist doesn't mean you can't play more like a tank would and defend your team, etc. Also from what I've played with Sue, she really struggles to output consistent healing which makes me think that she's going to be more of a duelist support or actual 'strategist' to help her team win, and less about team healing like other healers - like Rocket, but maybe more about going along with flankers to help them win 1v1's and finish off the enemy if they happen to lose for whatever reason. Her abilities give her great escapes, but her primary fire healing being aim reliant means that unless your team is standing still for you it's tough to do much for them all the time. Even her shields stay in place rather than following whoever you cast it on, so it's not even that useful since everyone in the game is constantly in motion and therefore pretty much always moves away from the shield as soon as it's cast. I'm scoffing at all the idiots who were making videos about her kit saying she was OP and 'busted' because on paper they thought she seemed super strong; getting value out of her in a game is much, MUCH harder than it looks ~ that's why we shouldn't judge things before we actually get to see them in game, guys! It's not Reed Richards level rocket science here. Pretty basic stuff.
Reed feels weird to play at first, but I feel like once you get the combos and positioning he could be a very useful mini-vanguard with some good damage.
Part of me just wishes he was a tank so I could play him more. But I’m so happy he’s not another burst damage dps. He fills a really nice role by bascially being a tank. He can operate as a dps while not having huge damage his abilities all compliment his teammates well. Setting up combos into yours or other abilities is really nice. So happy to so dps doesn’t just mean high insta kill damage. He’s all about control, being a support to the team which makes sense given the fantastic 4 operate as well as team most of the time.
Idk saw or knows but when it attack normally you and swing you arms and still hit people so if you miss just move the camera towards them and you still hit them (hopefully)

i its funny to just think marvel wanted to call roles different stuff to separate itself from other games but i feel like people are missing the obvious fact that duelist are supposed to fight characters one at a time whole vanguards are meant to handle multiple folks at once which explains the over lap with characters LIKE reed richards which is why rivals told us to drop the ow mind set
Idk if haven't gotten to try him out of the range but iw Holy shit i love her for healing.. shield and heal... plus the ult... it isn't as good as Luna but better than mantis for a healing ult and the force pull/push is hilarious to pull someone trying to run away or chuck em away from the point or the person healing them
