It has not been patched, this run is played on current patch (1.06). If you can better explain how you are attempting it, I can help. There are many components to the trick. Firstly you need to be using the correct version of mist raven, the one that can be used while mid air (the mid air prosthetics skill might be necessary, I am not sure). You also need to not get spotted by her as you sneak up behind her, be poisoned so you can actually activate mist raven and make sure you are clicking fast enough after the 2nd use so that you are still high enough to get the stealth deathblow.

This run is played on current patch. Almost all my runs are done on current patch 1.06 (except my No Airswim runs, those are done on 1.02). I show the version number at the start of the video on the main menu, always. But there are very few things that have actually been successfully patched. The monk stealth deathblow has not been patched. There are a variety of ways it can be done, the version I do in this video requires Mid-Air Prosthetics and the Aged Feather Mist Raven. You also need to be taking damage to use it, which is why I use contact medicine to poison myself. The Sen and Dragon Flash on Gyoubu hit him in the head, which is why it does so much damage. You could in theory hit him with anything that does damage and if it's a headshot it will do massive damage. Hitting a headshot is not only a matter of hitting him in the head, but the hit also needs to hit his head before it hits anything else. If his arm, shoulder, horse or something like that is blocking, then it will not be a headshot. It's not easy.
