Before you comment saying I'm cheating or using hacks and I "Should have just used one shot as well" then don't bother. No hacks or cheats were used in this run, I am using a GLITCH that allows you to have infinite mana but it also allows you to interrupt animations which is why we can also fly using infinite mana. To do the glitch you need to be playing on version 1.0.7, make sure you have pillar stance and sweeping gale and then just initiate the sweeping gale combo and then during him exiting the sweeping gale just spam cloud step and that's it. You can see my inputs for it on screen which is why I added them.
ok but like, and I'm not aiming this specifically at you, more at all speed runners. How is this in any way satisfying lmfao. You don't even play the game. I guess it's cool in a "huh. that's cool I guess" kind of way.

@@ksneidndkdoknnw Some games have pretty interesting and fun Any% runs, some glitches are really cool and there's a lot of people who like them including myself. But I will agree that this run is super boring when you actually do it, it wouldn't be as bad if you had to still fight the bosses normally but this is the "fastest" way to complete the game so that's why you have to do it this way. Also just because you're doing glitches doesn't mean you aren't playing the game and in some cases doing the glitches is way harder than just playing the game normally and I should know..... but this is not one of those games lol

I wanted to ask you and all other speedrunners I saw. Why are you playing on version 1.0.7? I know it has the mana glitch, but isnt universal speedrun rule that speedruns are done on current game version? Also would make for more insteresting speedruns instead of spamming pluck of many and immobilize

Advice for the first fight against erlang to save more time ,
#1 Use pluck of many immediately as you can get it back when it is about half way in the second phase along with immobilize and try to nail rock solids on his thrust attacks as it is the easiest window to. i've done this fight a lot of times with a spell binder build and no spells to learn his rotations enough to shred this fight in 2 mins (without trying to speed run it)
#2 When he is throwing swords or nails or whatever that is at you , keep running around and then when you see a red ball glowing above his head then disappear / become transparent dodge immediately because that move locks on to the specific spot you are at in that very moment it goes transparent. An easier way is going off of sound cues as well because you will hear the moves charging sound , then you will hear a click and that's when you are locked on to and need to click dodge because he will fire it immediately after. A better visual cue is after it does the "mini explosion" in the animation at 2:16 , dodge immediately after.

interesting to know that to trigger bosses you don't even need to beat them in order, just somehow getting to their arena is enough to trigger their boss fight, well at least in this build

My NG+ playtime with all bosses, spirits, secret areas also secret ending 4 deaths in total 6 hours and 2 minutes. Standard NG+ wukong armor and staff build

people don't understand the difference between cheats and exploits. and seems like people also don't understand that any% speedrun categories is the mecca where people gather to abuse exploits to the limit
exploiting is cheating. in professional esports. any player who uses exploits in a competitive game will be banned and considered a cheater
@@moeftw6792 speedrunning is different than professional esports. any% speedrun category permits in-game exploits unless specifically stated otherwise. as long as the exploits aren't done through 3rd party software and can naturally be done in game, it's valid.

Could definitely be improved with either the yaksha set or golden set for the huge damage buffs and the one staff with 25% crit could definitely save over a minute off this time
Amazing run. Just one question what spell helps you to gain height? And for people who are saying cheating and all, it takes a lot of time to figure out these glitches and optimal pathways to avoid triggers so pls respect the dedication of such speed runners as well.

Matt, I'm curious what going to happen with the bosses we skipped once we finished the chapter, are those just die or still at their place ready for a fight?
You can go back and fight any boss you skip, even the mandatory ones.

It wouldn't matter, the cutscenes were animated with Chinese in mind so if you play in English you can tell that the mouths don't sync up, I also don't know where else Chinese could possibly save time.
Impressive to beat the hardest game that was ever made. Remembering all routes etc. This game beats elder ring in every aspect

How can i downgrade the Patch to day one, Patch on Steam ? Couse no the Game patched automaticly and No Cloud step clitch anymore 😢
Just press windows+R type in steam://open/console then type in "download_depot 2358720 2358721 7558476378129500741". Then just replace those files it downloads with the ones in your game folder and make sure to backup your saves first as their saved in the games directory. It should download the files to your steam folder, steamapps then content I think. I didn't have to do this though as I backed up my game before I knew they would patch the glitch so don't blame me if something goes wrong.
