Your garage looks great! Good job. For some OCD people, paint your vacuum black to blend in with your other equipment. You can also utilize the space above your fridge. Put in a shelf or cabinet and store the vacuum or even your air compressor. Insulate the area if you put your compressor there to minimize noise. Enjoy your new space!
Love seeing what you're doing. I'm fortunate that with our house build I've been able to do a barndo style build and I'm going to have an attached shop. Taking inspirations from transformations like this, even if I have a larger space to fill/work with (and likely a smaller budget 😂).
Really appreciated this video. I just installed the same lights and ran into the exact same issue with the dimming and thinking I messed something up (they neglected to include the sheet that explains the function). Fortunately I found this before ripping all the wires apart! Garage looks great brother; I'm in the middle of a renovation as well - nothing like a proper setup 🍻
Just stumbled across your channel and subscribed for the awesome content! Not too sure if you discussed it in a previous video, but how tall are your ceilings. Looking at purchasing some of these lights for my 20x26’ garage and was going to opt for the 6-bulb fixture. But am glad to hear the 4-bulb ones worked out for you!
If you put the subwoofer under the freezer. And add the fridge between the two cabinets. Then add one long countertop I will look built in And give you a little more counter space
I actually already ended up doing this with the sub. You’ll see it in the next video. As for another work top, that side needs to be open for my wife’s car. A table there wouldn’t allow the doors to open on the passenger side. The small fridge will be gone to free up more space.
The cabinet under the tv is as far as I can take it. If I brought anything over to the stairs, it would leave the walkway blocked to get to the cars. We park the telluride there and wouldn’t allow anyone to get through to the cars.
Is it too bright at times like when its night and you just need to go into the garage to grab something? Do you think i could get away with only 4 fixtures, i have the same size garage.
You can dim them to whatever % you want. But no I don’t find it too bright. 4 would not be enough as one part of the space would be unlit. 6 is the way to go.
@@Autofreakgarage I saw that part about the dimming, do you have to do that every time meaning if you dim them will they turn on dimmed by default the next time?
@s2kologist yes they default to 100% and would need to do that to dim them. However, you can just install a dimming switch to set it to where you want them.
Correct. Purchased from Matt. I value the source. Matt tried and tested many many options. He found them and came up with the solution. Honoring the source.
Glad to see the lights arived safely, your space is looking cleaner and cleaner every video!
Thanks Nick! Turned out better than expected.

Wow. I am literally doing almost the exact same set up in my garage right now. Glad I found your channel.
Awesome! Let me know if you have any questions.

Glad I wasn’t the only one haha. Enjoy the lights! I am so happy I invested in them. Such a great amount of light. Any questions, lmk!
Looks good. You should do a before and after. Different garage.
Yes I will be doing a full video of it from start to end

Pretty sure I mention all the dimensions in this video ua-cam.com/video/RG2JYpoyrs0/v-deo.htmlsi=Ni95c2zVmCP2ds4v
What color is the ceiling? What made you choose that?

@@Autofreakgarage no I was talking about under the tv wall for the fridge

@@Autofreakgarage can’t it be backed in on the other side
It would push the cabinet too far over and block the path to get in and out of the house.
what light bulb did ylou use in the liftmaster garage door opener?
I show them in this video ua-cam.com/video/u09nwxrVdbQ/v-deo.htmlsi=SXmYuwGGWbgNvrdJ
@@Autofreakgarage Thanks so much! I knew I saw the upgrade somewhere I just couldn't remember where but Im glad it was with you!

@@Autofreakgarage thanks for the info and documenting the installation, very helpful.
Hopefully you decide to mount those speakers up high. Horrible waste of space putting them on top of the worktop.
Been on the workbench for 4+ years like that. Never once gotten in the way.
I NEED A M3 POV🗣️, It's my LIFE support 😭😭😭!
Haha getting back to the M3 videos shortly!
Can’t say you never miss your STi 😢
Never
@@Autofreakgarage lol well that’s a good answer because it sucks to ever miss anything you’ve sold especially a car!
@@Autofreakgarage Outstanding work as always though!
What brand are these fixtures?
I mentioned it in the video
Obsessed garage doesn’t make lights, do they?
They do not. They are from prime lights. OG found this solution and sells them.
@@Autofreakgarage I see. I think you said you bought them from him? He charges $20 more and charges for shipping?

@@Autofreakgaragehe found them even though they were already available for sale at a lower price and with free shipping?
@@StewPedasoecorrect. They were about twenty bucks less along with free shipping which is the big kicker.
