Just received my pair, extremely impressed with the SQ, Low end is pretty good for wireless, mids are decent, highs are crisp without being sibilant. I wish they got louder, but for 95% of people they are more then loud enough. Initially i was underwhelmed until I set up the HeadID, then they just came alive

Yeah, I hear u, so do u know of a wireless bud that's close to this quality, but louder?
@@bigjt37 it's the only wireless pair I have, they sound pretty great. No reason to change them. I used them on an 8hr flight at full volume and they lasted around 7hrs 30mins before they indicated low battery.
When I look for earphones, I check El Jefe's channel first 😊

Finally the first real review, unlike other UA-cam reviewers who can't really compare, and shy away due to price point. I've been waiting for someone with ears to actually say how it compares to the $300 Sennheisers, knowing that other reviewers are just avoiding the topic and usually say "they can (come close to) rival(ing) the expensive."
also, all the comments from the other reviews were so smug with their Tevis and e12 ultras, and that's because the reviewers couldn't make any real evaluations and said "you be the judge". How do we be the judge when they have the earbuds???? music samples are not accurate. feels like throwing in some terms here and there, trying to get by the review.
now over here, el jefe told them not to have buyers' remorse, but we can clearly see comments preferring the liberty 2 pro here.
@El Jefe, there are reported distortion in electric/house music. Can you address if this is true for your unit?

I have the liberty 2 pro's and listened to that track. Nothing went wrong - no distortion at all. I think you got a bad pair.

Dude, I just got my preorder of these. Mind is blown. I think these are my new favorite device. I can't find words to explain how good these sound for the price.
I realize that this is an older video but I gotta tell you that I just picked up a pair of these and...again... you nailed these.
I'm all about sound quality and these really bring it.
Straight out of the box, the sound was right on. I didn't even need to change eartips or wings. The fit was perfect.
The EQ is fun but the signature sound preset works best for me. Deep, punchy and tight bass, combined with natural sounding mids and vocals and crisp, not harsh highs.
The sound stage is large for in ear headphones and I'm really liking the button controls.

I have some great news for you! Soundcore announced in the original event that they released these at, that pass through will be added to these via software update! They already have the hardware needed, they just have to finish the tweaking of the software.
When my liberty 2 pro come, I will be trying out tidal though your link. Can’t wait to try them out!

Took possession of the Liberty2 pro's today,,, and you were spot on my friend... after spending some time finding the right ear tip ( I HIGHLY recommend the SpinFit cp145 tips on these!!! they brought my galaxy buds to a whole new level.) and playing around on the app,,, these are fighting for my all time favorites... keep up the great reviews Jefe you are greatly appreciated !!! thank you again....

I LOVE these. Sound is great. These are very comfortable. I am unsure if it is because I use Tidal or not; but I don't hear any hiss like I have read others discuss. Bass is great and sound is clear. Volume is good and the app helps me EQ my sound. I am completely satisfied with these and have found my day to day earbuds.

Good stuff man. Watched alot of your videos before i decided to purchase a set of true wireless headphones. Did a ton of research and then stumbled on the preorder for these. Read all their info and specs and decided to purchase. Was super relieved when i got them and heard them for the first time. Having realised my gamble on buying a set that hasnt been reviewed paid off. Love the comfort, love the sound, also nice to know how they stack up with a the others on the market. Great review.

These have become my one and only. No crap, I sold my Tevi's yesterday.
Once you use the EQ and set them up to your liking the sound is compared to full ear headphones.
The Soundcore Liberty 2 do have a full band adjustable EQ that shines. I like the EQ settings by Buck Snow
A few weeks ago I ordered the Lipertek tevi,that same night I caught the first preview of these buds and quick cancelled the tevi's and preordered these for a hundred bucks.I feel that now after this review that I made the right move.Thanks.Still waiting on these buds and really lookin forward to them.Still using my Bose wired which are no slouch's in the sound dept.

Great review. I agree with everything you said, really hope pass through sound is added with a Firmware update. One thing to mention is that these have volume control independent of your phone volume and that's a really good thing. These get LOUD. So the independent volume helps to dial it in just right.
No more headphone reviews please, I have 35 headphones/earphones already. My wife will divorce me if I ordered another one. Between you, Gamesky, Gymcaddy, Flossy, and JRR you're ruining a lot of marriage and relationship with our loved ones, not to mention hearings. Review cars instead, at least I know I can't afford to buy a new one every 2 weeks or every year.

Yo bro EL JEFE, I've been following your reviews for roughly a month now. A couple days go I ordered the Sony WF-1000XM3. But even though the many have raved about the sound, there were a few concerns: 1) It's nonexistent resistance to moisture 2) It might fall out of your ears while running or working at the gym, 3) You have to adjust the volume from your phone. Your review freed me to get something less expensive, but likely just as good if not better. In the process of researching the Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro, I was worried at first that it didn't have any volume controls, but was relieved when I read that you have the option to reconfigure it. The only disappointment is that I have to wait about a week to get it.
Let me know how you like them after you try out your favorite tracks.

傅紹倫 I had to evaluate on the basis of sound and how I was planning to use it. Because my workout at the gym is pretty intense I settled with the Liberty 2. It is just more secure and stable in the ear.
The sound of the sony is arguably better, however.

I‘ve got the Inear Sennheiser CX 275s wired earbuds without ANC.
I‘ve been looking for a pair of TWS with a lot of Volume, Bass, and a long battery-time.
I‘ve watched Your review about the "Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro“, and ordered them based on Your review.
In Switzerland they‘re more expensive than in the States.
Here the Price is 184.75 US Dollar equal 179.- Swiss Francs.
Yesterday after almost 1 month of delivery-time, they finally arrived.
UNFORTUNATELY: Almost no Volume
I‘m single side deaf, which means only my right ear is working properly.
If I compare them with the "Sennheiser CX 275s, they‘re practically silent.
Even with the different Equalizer-Presets and the Hear-ID, not much of a difference.
The source is an IPhone 11 Pro Max, which isn’t supposed to be the cause.
I have seen a clip of another reviewer on UA-cam. In which the reviewer said that, on account of a hissing , Anker released a firmware a long time ago to suppress that hissing, but on the other hand removed a lot of Volume.
IS THERE A POSSIBILITY TO GET MORE VOLUME?!?!?!
One upside to this revelation is: If I use them with an "American Ipod Nano (7th. Gen) ""THE AMERICAN IPOD‘S are WAY MUCH LOUDER than the European ones"" Thanks to the American Industry

@@Marceous post em up on eBay. You won't be sorry. I have a dozen or so tws headphones. The Galaxy buds have a couple of nice features, pass-through audio, find my earbuds. But in terms of audio quality I would put them near the bottom of the ones that I have. airpods coming in dead last. These have the best audio quality out of any that I've tried so far!

@@Squishy_avocado yes and some pretty rowdy mountain biking. I never had a problem with either of them falling out. But I never had a problem with even airpods falling out, guess I have small ears lol

When it comes to headphones, earbuds reviews you are the best. I bought the TaoTronics 046 after watching your review, then i bought Sony wh-1000xm3. And now i am looking for true wireless earbuds with noise active canceling for sport but i found them a little bit expensive for what they provide. After watching Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro vs Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 reviews i ordred the Anker Soundcore Liberty 2.

Hi, Great video I really enjoyed , but for someone who already owns the soundcore Liberty 2 : is the upgrade worth it ? is there any huge difference between the 2(especially for the sound quality) ? thx in advance for your response.
The single biggest upgrade is going from single driver to coaxial hybrid drivers. Makes a huge difference in sound quality.
I've gone through the same question in my mind for the last 2 weeks and nobody could gave me a clear answer so I took my chances and ordered the Liberty 2 Pro to compare with my Liberty 2.
The result? After 10 hours straight of listening to each songs from several genres twice by both of them, now I can say that the Pro does sound better with more clarity in mid and high. It's not by much though so to answer the question whether or not it's worth the extra $50? I'd say no. Fortunately, I use a code in Amazon and it gave me $40 discount so the difference between the 2 sets was only $10. In this case, I definitely say YES to the upgrade (the code I used was "JERRYL2P" BTW).
To be a little more specific, the non-pro version sounds great with plenty of bass. But the mid and high seem to be a little bit struggling like the driver tried so hard to balance them. On the other hand, the Pro version seems to have it easy, nice and smooth, across all the frequencies. Anyway, to tell you the truth, if I haven't spent hours compared them side by side, I'd still think the non-pro has the best sound quality. So, IMO, if you can get it with discount, go for it. If not, don't bother because it's essentially almost the same identical earbuds.
I disagree. Even at full price I’d still go for the Pros. The sound quality is noticeably better. Especially in the detail and sound stage. And if you can get them at a discount all the more reason to go all the way.

You need to check out the Monster clarity hd airlinks 2019 edition, for under $100 these will be your top true wireless earbuds after you listen to them, better then sabbats, 1mores, etc . Thumpin bass and dynamic soundstage these will compete with much more expensive earbuds and headphones. Please review would like to hear your thoughts ?

I ordered these a week ago and still waiting for them to come through from Soundcore. Apparently they said that they didn't produce enough units to satisfy demand.

I have been hopping around channels and looking up reviews because I want the best pair of buds (as least for what's out so far) I was considering the Sennys because I really want to get whatever sounds best. Just wanted to Add my experience in the last few weeks
I got the Liberty 2 Airs, they were nice but the touch controls were very hit and miss. and I would always need to jam them into my ear to get them to sit
i took them back and got the Liberty 2 (Not pro) for $100. The sound is FAR superior than the liberty Air 2. From the looks of it they are well worth the $50 savings. Plus call quality is just as good as the liberty Air 2's

Unfortunately I do not have the Sony so I can’t say.
I have both and I can say that I'd prefer the Liberty 2 Pro more. Unfortunately, I bought the Sony 3 months before I found these so I couldn't return them. If I was still looking then I'd definitely just get the Soundcore. The reason was simple, the Liberty 2 Pro can do almost everything the XM3 could for half the price. The only things missing were ANC, transparency and custom EQ. However, Liberty 2 Pro also has IPX rate, wireless charge, compact size case and HearID to make up for it. Personally, I think ANC on earbuds is overrated. Most earbuds already doing fine with just passive isolation as long as you get a good seal. Now, the Liberty 2 Pro is my go to earbuds.

Bro i Really want to tell you that since i came across your channel it have become my go to channel when i want to know about earphones/headphones as far as i've seen because I love the way you review thing.. And Flossy Carter also.. as I said I have ordered myself a pair of Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro and I'm so excited to get them.. but my only problem is that I would love a transparency mode so I hope they drops a firmware update to fix that but it's not a deal breaker but it would be nice to have..

Owned them and sent them back. They were making a static noise and popping noise.
Haven't experienced that with mine. But it's not surprising with this type of tech.

Thank you so much for commenting whether or not the earbuds you review have mono mode. This is incredibly important to me since I can't wear both at work. It seems few companies want to list the SoC they run, even if its nearly top of the line with Qualcomm TWS. I'm going to do some research and see if these Anker run TWS or not cause they seem slightly better then the Tevi I planned on grabbing up.
Amazon claimed it uses the Qualcomm 3020, the cheapest version of the TWS chip and I can't find any data on the homepage . Kinda dissapointed since the Tevi uses the 51xx which is a premium version with Qualcomm ANC. You can't beat dual drivers with the Tevi though and that means there is still a potentially better set of earbuds around the corner.
Same as I said in this review, I'll take these Liberty 2 Pro over the Tevi if I had to choose. Despite the fact that they have a completely different sound signature.

@@BlueAce1914 Agreed. Especially for the price. But Anker is usually very good at customer service. I've seen people Tweet them about a problem and then a week later they have a replacement in hand. Hopefully they will extend this level of service to all who are experiencing technical problems with their units.
Hey thanks for the amazing review. I bought some Liberty 2(not the pro version) online for way less than retail and these are the best earphones i have ever had. That includes over ear, on ear, in ear. Great sound and nice and loud. and the connectivity is great. thanks for the advice.

These are still one of the best earbuds in the market, i just got them 2 months ago and they are awesome. They just need ANC to be perfect

Nice review 👍! One set you left out in your comparison is the Jabra Elite 65t, which I'm currently using. It has the one important feature to me that the liberty 2 pros seem to be missing, which is the sound pass through technology. I was thinking of upgrading to the Jabra 75t that just released, but this review has me second guessing that.
Rumor has it that pass through audio will be coming to these via update through the Soundcore app.

OK! I just bought the Liberty 2 Pro's as all the reviews say how great they are. I have the Sony WF-1000XM3's and i used to think they had the best sound as all the reviews said how great they were. Well lets just say Amazon is getting the Sony's back and for the price of the Sony's I can get two pairs of Liberty Pro 2's from Amazon. Trust me they are worth it. The volume is excellent the connection is solid and the sound is simply unbelievable! I thought it was a gimmick with the grammy award winning producers thing! They are telling the truth and they know what they are talking about. The way they have configured these things is very well done. Fit is better than the Sony's as well. If your looking for noise cancelling I get it! I'll keep my over ears for that but for days when I need to use the in ears for commuting and things, the go to will be the Liberty pros. A neat thing about them is the app with all the preset equalizer settings, they actual do make a difference when you select the genre you listen to. I have them set up fitting well and have had them in for 2 hours now and I just can't get over the sound quality and the bass, well the bass is nothing like anything I have heard in this size of headphone! Look out Sony these are coming for you and if they get ANC in the future without loosing sound quality and the cheaper price Sony won't stand a chance! Also these have apt-X and with this codec with blue tooth 5.0 it is much more solid connection to my iPhone or my Fiio M9 then the sony's were. These are stupid good. I have AirPods pros on the way and I have a bad feeling they won't compare to the Liberty 2 Pro's with the Fiio or my iPhone! GET THESE IF YOUR NOT SURE WHAT TO BUY in this category! I took a chance and am so glad I did! I am about sound quality over all the other bells and whistles and currently these have me hooked! So if you want sound quality these are maybe the best on the market and they are at this price point as I got them for $40.00 off the MSRP on Amazon.ca
Steve Langan I have AirPods Pro as well! I think these blow them out of the water in sound quality! BUT AirPods pro are honestly extremely good in sound quality! Here’s what I’m thinking AirPods Pro are beyond good for average people but audio files this is the right choice! What do you think are better in sound quality? AirPods pro, Sony Wf1000xm3s, or Anker Soundcore Liberty 2s? Rank them for me! Nice comment!

I sadly retuned the non pros because of the over saturated bass so if you buy these get the pro version, and I ended up getting the Sony WF1000xM3s. They are my new favorites! But you do you they are amazing for $100! The audio quality is unbeatable for the price!
not at Gym but outside running or walking and have no issues. Everyones ears are different but these are secure in mine. much more than the Sony's were.

ok Jefe,,, I ordered these specifically based on your review,,, I have quite a few pairs of other buds ( samsung iconx 2018,, galaxy buds,, jbuds icon air,, bomaker sifi ) all of these are decent earbuds but all seem to fall a little bit short in the sound stage area,,, the bomakers have been the biggest surprise in the bunch for such a budget set of buds,,, but I am looking forward to see if the sounds of liberty 2 pro's have the depth and dynamic soundstage I am looking for... keep up the awesome work!!!!
The Bomakers are the only ones I do not have. I'm surprised you skipped on the Lypertek Tevi. Those have great soundstage and superb detail for a budget true wireless earbud.
they are definitely on my list to try,,, I recommend the Bomaker sifi at the price point they are impressive and have volume control ...

excellent review el. unlike the actual written reviews from confirmed purchasers in the uk who experience connectivity issues and the earbuds slipping into mono mode. understandably everyones experience is going to be different but some may find these youtube reviews misleading. ive recently purchase votomy v22 earbuds and the sound is amazing and as i am a searcher in pursuit on perfection i watched your review and went straight to amazon uk to pick up a pair of these only to find reviews of people that had experienced problems. on that i would steer clear of them.
Up to you who you want to believe. I stand behind my words and I am also a verified purchaser. Plenty of people share my experience with the L2P. I also have the Votomy V-22. They are good but are easily beaten by the L2P. It's not even close.

Neither offer that type of sound. Soundpeats Free2 Classic are what you are looking for.

Liberty 2 Pro is still better in my opinion. The e10 have great sound ruined by terrible quality control.
Great review as always. I might hold off on these till I see a review on the new jabra 75t and see how they compare. I like more slimmer minimal look earbuds like galaxy buds that don't stick out too much.

I would love to buy this product but from the reviews I read I noticed that there is talk of static background noise (when the headphones are paused or when you listen to a pod cast) is this problem too? currently have to raycon E50, they're alright for the price when i got them, but the bluetooth connection problems are driving me nuts, + they came out with E55 RIGHT after they were delivered.
You're going to love these! They're worth every penny of $150. But for under $100 shipped you HAVE to get them. I actually ordered a 2nd set as a gift for a friend.
