What happened to Katie happens when a woman stands up to a man like this. He even caused her financial issues, then promised to help her and held the help over her by withdrawing and delaying it. This happens so very often, not at all rare unfortunately.
Not ending with death always of course but I cannot imagine the amount of domestic violence occurring all around the world - be it mentally, emotionally, verbal, physical - then deadly ! finally😡
Just in my own family almost every men abused their family.
With one exception : when my grandma fucked with everyone. But at least she was cooking and took care of stuff:) and however abusive women can be, somehow you are not afraid of being killed by them. (Though emotional abuse is just as killing)
And mine is a middle class “normal” educated family with diplomas from medical and engineering fields. Seemingly normal lives, with holidays, sometimes laughter and humor.
But true caring towards one another is poisoned because of 1 man’s inadequacy and because of 1 wife’s inability to understand that her main focus should have been on the fu*cking kids and not on the borderline mentally unstable father.
One of my grandpas was an aggressor too, one of my grandmas the same. At least one parent tortured my parents as well. What is interesting though that they didnt learn anything , culture, social norms can really reinforce abusive behavior and neglect (which is also abuse). And what is even more interesting is that they I believe were both strongly supported by at least 1 parents of them - so they really succeeded in life. Well.. they didnt think they should really care though what their children would do and how..apart from money they are not able to emotionally be involved.
Truly shocking and scarry. When you feel your parents think they are doing the most amazing job while they genuinely give a shit what happens to you.
It is not rare at all. In former generations people were everything but open and more than not abusive because of anxiously complying the norms and avoid being shamed by the public.
Something is clearly off. And sadly, my mother is - I know - that a very gentle and loving person who is a doctor btw curing many people in her life - still she was capable of desensitize herself to her kids problems. She instead - was always putting her husband and abusive mother first…. to be a good girl.
So when u ask for help from a mother like that they do not feel they should act and they feel uncomfortable.
There are many creepy men among us because this is the culture..
And many women who are brainwashed and helpless.
      It is so sad:(
Parents also are blind in most cases to see if their kid’s partner is emotionally abused.

Well done. You're the only commentator who has mentioned Men AND women. It is regularly, and conveniently forgotten that women can be abusers too. As a father of both boys and girls, I am beginning to notice the effect on the teenage boys that the constant vilification of men has on their self-esteem, relationships with other girls and their outlook. It's now gone to the other extreme, where they are fearful of having any relationships with girls and, even as teenagers, begin to look towards so-called "influences" such as Jordan Peterson, Tate and Ben Shapiro. Extreme feminism, constant attacks on masculinity, and lack of emotional support in the communities is resulting in an increase in teenage boys suicides, emasculated and introverted young lads who's basic raison d'etre is questioned every day. I worry about what kind of mental health minefield the backlash and generalisation against all men will create for our young adults. Anyone with teenage boys will, or should, be aware of the delicate situation they find themselves in..

@@Jammo1978 I hear you. The abusers are highly manipulative - check out trauma bonding and coercive control. It’s not so much staying as being psychologically and emotionally abused. I do think there’s a spiritual element too - a goal to destroy the soul.

This is so incredibly sad to watch. So sad. I feel so sorry for this vulnerable lady, whose life had been cruelly taken. I feel so sorry for her children, sister, and family. The grief must be unbearable. Why are some people born with such cruel, savage intentions?

    • @drakircastrohawkes1616
      @drakircastrohawkes1616 Рік тому

These types of evil intentions are mostly a result of how people are raised and whether or not they have 3 dimensional thinking. Not just thinking about how your actions affect you, but how they affect the people around them which includes loved ones. It was very clear that Andrew never developed that level of 3 dimensional thinking and paired with narcissistic tendencies and manipulation, you are presented with someone that exhibits malicious intentions.

She was literally hugging and kissing him and excited for their outing…while he was planning her murder. Being a psychopath isn’t a good enough reason…why? Why her when she behaved so loving to him. When he clearly didn’t deserve it! He was gross, she was beautiful. Inside and out for both. To try to make himself a hero in the story, with those disgusting texts. He’ll kill their mother, and then act as though he’s the one that will raise them in her absence. Just disgusting. I literally hate him.

I would have wanted to know more about Katie though, why there was the question of her checking herself into a facility and what was it in her background that allowed her to have a relationship with this disturbed man? Beautiful soul, May you rest in paradise. Why? Why? Do men tend to manipulate always the good ones? I can relate to this tragedy, ladies if you see any red flags is because is warning you from that person. Please follow your instincts, and get out of the relationship, but don't tell him. Or if you do, make sure you are surrounded by people that know you. I had to leave my home where my deceased husband of 30 years left me and my children. After all, he wouldn't leave. I never looked for anyone in the first place, but after 5 years I met this ex-military handsome guy, who asked me for marriage. He was very attentive, and once he saw what I could offer, then the manipulation started. He tried to have me only for himself and ran off my friends away and family. He drank every day. Couldn't keep a job, and he then started with verbal abuse. He would do this in front of my then 12-year-old. I realized he had many issues like this guy who killed Katie, he made her believe that she had mental issues when they are the ones that need to be locked up in a loony bin. He was probably the one with mental issues. I broke off my engagement and he didn't want to leave my house. One day he pinned me down on my bed, with one finger on my cheek, and said to me, I could kill you right now and leave no mark. I could get away with it. Please learn from these horrific stories, be safe everyone and God bless 🙌 💔
